What is on your Christmas list?

I think I want a mixer. I'm going to try decorating cookies. I did some the other day....They came out okay, but I would like to try again before Christmas.

Me too! I have a nice one for bread but it doesn't do cookie dough very well. I had a KitchenAide but it died a very sad death when I used it for pizza dough instead of getting out my Bosch. Silly me!

My Christmas Wish List...some new clothes for mama! I was pulling out some of my summer clothes out of my dresser and putting away some winter clothes....and I realized that most of my clothes are so worn it's ridiculous!! A new wardrobe would definitely be at the top of my wish list...nice warm sweaters, turtle necks, fuzzy socks, and skinny jeans (lined with something nice & warm} would be wonderful!!

Of course, a kitchenaid would be fabulous, too!! :36_15_8:

At first, top of my list was a photo scanner, but then I went to my daughter's Mary Poppins performance and dropped my big camera right on it's lens and destroyed the small 18-55 lens. So, that is new wish. I am hoping for an upgrade while I am at it. I have a Nikon D3000. Anyone have any recommendations?

I would love a new speaker. I had a cute little one I would take everywhere, but then it died, have no idea why? I feel like I function way better with music, lol. Dancing around in the kitchen while cooking, singing while folding the clothes... *sigh* I miss the speaker, lol...

Im scared to wish for anything really. I just want to get through the rest of 2018 without anything else happening. It’s been a trying year.

I participated in a card exchange on another site and am enjoying it so much.

Health for 2019.

I think one of those would be neat.

A Ninja Foodi air fryer and a new lens, a canon 24-70mm. But since I bought the air fryer on black Friday back in November, I can wait for the canon lens until I could sell my 135mm.

This year, we are giving of Time, Talent and Treasure. Things like:

~ All go to church with me one day
~ Surprise me with dinner or a clean house when I get home
~ Groom the dog
~ Do my laundry one day (including folding and hanging up!)
~ Have a wine and a movie night (a movie that we already own)
~ Wine and paint night (we own the canvasses, paint, easels, and we have Art Sherpa on You Tube!)
~ Kidnap me to a kids house for a day of making cookies

Things like that :) We have such fun thinking up crazy cost-free gifts!

Lynn, I love your list!!! I need new clothes too but I couldn't fit my big butt in skinny jeans if my life depended on it...lol
I do need certain jeans so that I can wear my boots, but I'm not a fashion person....so I have no idea what to get.

Well Em, I hope you get your speaker....that sounds like something I need!!! I need a little Joy in my life!~

What do I want? That's a good question! Every time this time of the year rolls around, I have no idea what to tell my husband while he gives me several choices. I have seen some good ideas here though! I'll give it some more thought.

Great request!! Lynnie, I love yours and will be adding at of those to mine. I need a new camera. I really don't care if I get a thing. I just like to make sure my kids are taken care of....even if they are adults :)

Ive told my family that all I want for Christmas is company and cuddles.

If I could send you hugs from so far away, Jill, I would. You have a lovely family, I am sure they will cuddle you and cuddle you and cuddle you through this.

I just want a little break - we have been so busy this year that it would be nice to just reat & do nothing for a few days
We did get to go on a holiday of a lifetime in September to Tonga, just hubby & I, no kids (first time in 16 years) & we swam with Humpback Whales but it was an exhausting week so rest would be my number 1 this year

All I want is more time with all my kids and grands... everyone is working and have busy lives, so I really enjoy the time we spend together, and I told my kids not to worry about getting me anything, seeing them is all I need. Just make Christmas special for the grandchildren is what I like to see...

And Ladies... I wish you all a blessed MERRY CHRISTMAS, and I hope 2019 is a great year for all of you!!

Such good gifts!

(I've mixed all kinds of dough in my Kitchenade and it's been ok, but now I'm paranoid I'm doing it wrong, LOL)

My dad usually gets me Persnickety Prints or Audible credits, so looking forward to that.

Jason and I don't exchange gifts, but he gives me a stocking on our anniversary (the 28th) with little gifts from the drugstore. It's been a tradition since we first got married (and a great excuse to get new makeup) I want to try a sheet face mask, and I need to replace some lipsticks that I've lost somewhere. I like getting a stocking full of stuff to pamper myself :)

I think if anyone else wants to get me anything, I'll say just send me a picture of something cool every week. We live so far away from everyone we love, it's nice to get photos of what's going on in their lives.

So you can't use it for a bunch of different stuff?

Depends on which model KitchenAide you get. I had a "professional" version and thought it could do anything so I made a double recipe of dough and it died. My daughter in law uses hers for shredding chicken, whipping potatoes and then of course all those delicious sweet breads and cookies.

I really just wanted to make bread so I splurged and got a Bosch. Works great but just doesn't scrape the sides enough for cookies, to my liking anyway. Tons of people use it for cookies so I'm sure it is user error. :)

I did see a beautiful country blue KitchenAide at Target on Saturday. I had to force myself to walk away..... I might have to donate plasma a few months this spring and surprise myself with a birthday present. Hahaha.
