What do you listen to while you scrap?

I listen to my boys play computer games hehe I've tried listening to music, but that seems to distract me more than help. In the evenings, I'll take my laptop to the living room & watch (well, not really watch...more like listen to) a movie with hubby & boys.

I prefer silence, too, Melly! It's really peaceful when hubby & boys are out and I can scrap in peace hehe ...that doesn't happen often enough. LOL!

Depends on my mood and what I'm scrapping. In the summer there is often a baseball game on that I listen to while I scrap and I can stop and watch when there is a big play or my favorite hitters are at bat. When there is no baseball on TV I usually prefer quiet but sometimes I listen to music. My usual playlist is pretty eclectic so it might be classical, Glen Miller, Elvis, Iron Maiden or Rihanna. When I'm journaling I prefer it quiet though.

it depends.. sometimes I prefer silence, sometimes I "watch" TV while scrapping and sometimes, when I'm in the mood, I listen to my fav songs from youtube :)

I need silence to journal (and beware interrupting me then, lol!), but otherwise I listen to books, podcasts or music. I like listening to Adele or the Vampire Diaries soundtrack. I know if I've listened to a whole album, the LO is taking Way Too Long and I should probably hurry it up or take a break. :)

I intend on listening to music via Spotify (The Police, Billy Joel, Broadway show tunes, Paul Simon, 70s Lite Rock)...but by the time I remember to turn it on, I've scrapped in silence for about 45 minutes!!!! If I don't have something going on in the background, I get SUPER SLEEPY!!!!!!

audible books, i'm addicted to listening to my books.

Judy, I think I would get to the end of the book & wonder what I just heard... or stare off into space listening, but not scrapping! LOL! hehe

LOL! Cyndi, that's quite a playlist! I do the same once in a while - "watch" a movie that I've seen so many times that I don't have to look at the screen.
When I paper scrapped, the movie we would put on most during a crop is Sabrina with Harrison Ford :)

For sure. I do not even stop to look @ the computer screen, I just let it play, except for special spots: where I want to see it visually. Sometimes those links go bad, & I have to find new links for old movies. It almost seems like you-tube follows me around, so they can remove these movies. So, they need occasional updates. As you can tell I love my firefox files & save lots of links: so if I want a movie, or to look something up that I have links to, I'm better prepared for it!!

4notesake: I also have a bunch of links for various health issues: for those who seek natural resources!! I'm linked with lots of information.

If anyone would love to listen to harp music, here is a link!!

Resting In You is the one I play for when I do doTerra Massage Therapy to my friends!! If any one has children they want to put to sleep while doing digital scrapbooking, that should be helpful.

Oh, I do SO much better if I have sound on in the background while I work in PS (I don't say scrap, as I don't do much of that, lol...but designing). Anything from a television show (lately, it's been laying in bed watching old episodes of Snapped -- I think my hubby's worried, lol) to my current favorite songs on a youtube playlist (and now that I think about it, that probably scares him, too...because if my headphones are in and I'm jamming away...I don't always realize I'm singing out loud, but HE sure does, lol!) :D

It's a good thing our husbands still love us: LOL
I used to design, however just happy enough @ this rate to do digital scrapbooking & use other peoples designs.
When I get busy with scrapbooking, It's like I'm in a trance, my husband could say something & it's almost like he's not there: I can't hear him, unless he taps me on the shoulder, or gets real close to me when he speaks. As a trucker, it is often far away, so it is nice to have him around. I like noise in the background, while he likes peace & quiet. I'm thankful he is a busy man, & doesn't sit around much. He used to be a BeeKeeper & well.......as a result, I can say he's one busy bee: Buzz Buzz Just Because!!
