These are included in everything I download for digi scrapping. I like to delete any extra stuff so I have more room for my digital habit and I am wondering if I need to keep these for any reason...

I'm wondering also. Seems to come from designers using a Mac. I use Windows and always delete those files.

I am not a Mac user but my understanding is that they are the files that tell the Mac how to open the files. For Windows users just delete. They are not needed. But if you use a Mac then you need them. Hopefully a Mac user will comment and give us all better information. :)

Interesting indeed. Then if a Windows user doesn't need them and a Mac user doesn't need them then what are they there for?

Googling.........

What is __ Macosx folder?

The __MACOSX folder is created when a Mac user creates and archive (also called a zip file) using the Mac. If the Mac user sends the zip file to another Mac user, thefolder will not appear - this is a hidden folder. Many files on the Mac have two parts: a data fork, and a resource fork.

Hmmm......all of that silverware confuses me.......I use Windows and eat with my fingers.....and delete those fileshehe

It was like a duplicate of the first folder when you download, but when you open it was like exe something (on my end) so I also delete it.
