What about background papers?

Do you like to use patterned paper, plain paper, tone on tones for that background??
Do you have a "process" you go through to chose your papers?? I usually chose ONE paper in the kit that I love and KNOW I have to use it somewhere in the layout--is that a process??? haha!!

it all depends on what I'm scrapping, the template I use, etc! I usually drag & drop the papers I like into my template, then move them around and try about 100 diff combinations before I settle LOL!

I'm like Trina. It all depends. Each layout is different and the process from start to finish is always different.

I am like Trina also, except I really need to force myself to use a busy paper pattern as the main BG paper as I feel it takes away from the photo. I will play around with several before I decide though

I always use patterned paper and I also love blocking patterned paper, too. I rarely work with plain paper since I feel it's empty. LOL

I tend to gravitate toward patterns too. I'm a layer'er...I will plop all those papers in and start turning on and turning off layers to find a combo I love.

Oh I agree... I like to have options of colors because I use them as mat for photos or journalings sometimes.
