Anyone got any fun weekend plans for Father's Day? We are going to our friends first Political Party Friday Night. He's running for City Council and then on Saturday we are going to the same guys Birthday Party. Still not sure what we are going to do on Sunday for Father's Day but I'd like to take the Fam out to Friday Harbor on the San Juan Island. We will see.

We don't it have any big plans for Father's Day. I am giving my husband a new grill so will probably smuggle a turkey out of the freezer to thaw so he can cook that. The heat and humidity are supposed to let up so hopefully we can hang out outside.

Here in Australia, we have Father's Day in early September.

No real plans. Every Sunday my husband goes to Brooklyn to play rugby with his friends and than to a local bar for some drinks after. I think he enjoys the guy time!

Nothing exciting planned. My father is in the hospital having suffered a stroke several weeks ago and having had surgery on Monday to remove some blood clots in his bladder. Fortunately he is in a hospital that is only about an hour and forty minutes from where we live, so we've been driving up every weekend to see him (except the past two weekends as we were in another province for the Dietitians of Canada conference). So that's what we'll be doing this weekend as well. Saturday my husband returns from a business trips overseas, and then Sunday we'll drive up to see my dad.

oh Caylynn I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he makes a full recovery! Visiting him is a must for sure! Sending you all my love!

oh Caylynn!! {{HUGS}} Ssending love and hugs for a full recovery!

Hubs is working on Sunday, so we will probably celebrate on Sat... along with graduation and other parties, lol...

My Weekend started on Monday and will go all the way till the Monday after Father's Day. My mom, sister and I are out at the NASCAR race track. My hubby and my two sons are coming out on Thursday when school and work lets out. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be spent at the race track. Over 24 hours of racing for us. It is our tradition.

I hope your dad gets better soon, Caylynn!

My daughter is trying to make the high school soccer team, and they have games over the summer--one of which is Sunday. Her first would have been tonight, but it was rained (lightening)ed out. She just finished a travel league that had a game scheduled on Mother's Day. I guess us parents don't matter. :laughhard:

No big plans. We got home from Belize on Monday and today we just threw a big double birthday party for our two girls (12 and 15) and we are all partied and traveled out. Time to just sit at home and do nothing! We might try to go see Cars 3 Saturday night but that is about it.

Father's Day is a non-holiday for us. Cheyanne is working all day and I'm off on Sundays so I'm going to finish painting the walls in my kitchen since it's not going to be very nice outside for doing much.
