Please use this thread to post your weekly fitness accomplishments, along with any other health and wellness bits you want to share.

Your host is Caylynn, regsitered dietitian, master of public health, PhD student, and certified group fitness instructor.

While I can't answer specific questions regarding diet or exercise (i.e. I can't prescribe them unless you are a patient of mine), I will happily provide more general tips and answer any general questions about nutrition and exercise (i.e. general recommendations for the population, my opinion on fad diets, etc.)

Today I just did my physiotherapy exercises. My husband and I watched a movie last night, and that still causes slight headaches due to my post-concussion syndrome. So I wasn't up for anything more.

How about the rest of you? Any physical activity today? Tried a new healthy recipe you want to share?

This morning I did all my physiotherapy exercises, followed by a walk/run on the treadmill. My heart rate was staying nice and low, so after 12 minutes into my walk/run, I was able to switch from 2 min walking : 1 minute running, to 1 minute of each alternating. Progress! Yay! Coming back from a serious injury (concussion) followed by major surgery (hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy and excision of extensive endometriosis) hasn't been easy, but it is so nice to be making progress!

Can you give some recommendations for quick/easy but nutritious breakfast ideas? I want to eat more at home before work but always struggle with it. It would also save me money!

I have 56,939 steps in so far this week, down from last week but my knees have been bothering me a lot and I've had doctor appointments this week so my workouts have been shorter. I've gotten to the gym 17 days this month which is more than I've made it any month in the last year. My insurance gives me $20 for making it at least 12 times. Now if I could just get my knees to shut up LOL
