Weather got you down?

I don't know about you, but this Polar Vortex has me down in the dumps. I need warmth and sunshine to thrive. My husband always jokes that I must be solar powered ;)
Anyway...
I thought I'd start a thread where we can share something silly, photos, song lyrics, pictures found on the internet, whatever to make each other smile!
I'll start it off with a photo of my 4 year old after jumping into the drivers seat of his Great Grandmas car and shouting "Where to, GG?! Because I'm driving!" and then breaking down into laughter!

That's funny! The photo AND the fact that your hubby thinks you are solar powered. We all need our Sunshine Vitamin D!!!

I have to say the weather here is gorgeous at the moment! We're well into Spring... Summer is around the corner (they declare it's summer here on 1st December! I'm happy to go with that!)... and then it's probably going to get REALLY hot!!! :D
 
My hubby is also "solar powered!" Thankfully we live in So Cal where it is normally sunny. My kids & I love overcast, rainy days...hubby doesn't do well on those days.
I hope the weather clears up at least a little for you :)
 
We actually saw the sun for a bit today, horray! It's not rainy, it's just been cloudy and cold. And it's supposed to be like this all next week too.
I guess this hot sunny summer we had had me spoiled! This is South Texas after all, it's not supposed to be in the 40s already!
 
That photo just makes me smile! It's cold and snowing here. I'm not ready for it at all!

Yes its been below zero here a couple of mornings, and earlier this week we got 14+" of snow :p (I'm at my parents in MN)
 
I think I jinxed myself yesterday when I said it wasn't rainy... Because it rained all day. That slow, misty, depressing rain ;)
However, I did get some cute shots of our doggy enjoying the first fire of the season in our fire place... And this one of her sitting right next to my oldest watching The Clone Wars on Netflix ;)

I'm in Fort Worth, and yes, Texas shouldn't be this cold! Sharing a cute photo my daughter sent me yesterday ~ 5-year-old Lincoln doing home school kinder, and 19-month-old Charlie doing anything and everything Lincoln does.

Oh trust me, I am! My husband is from PA, about 20 minutes from the NY border. His parents have about a foot on the ground they said, at least 2 days ago when I talked to them. I have said many many times that I like to see the photos of the snow, but I don't wanna deal with it. I am a total Texas girl through in through. I stayed up there for about 2 months and could not wait to get back down here. Of course, that's just me.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the cold. I just don't like the cold and rain/snow combo! :D And I figured if I whined a little about it to you guys, my kids wouldn't keep rolling their eyes and yelling "WE KNOW" at me! hehe ;)

I'm with you!! Snow and rain are 4 letter words! Sunshine is just such a HAPPY word! Now, if I could just move to where it is sunny more often than not, I'd be a HAPPY girl!
