Was watching an old episode of MASH....

and Patrick Swayze was on. He was all of 20 years old. Still gorgeous and was really good. I believe it was his first TV appearance.

Got me thinking that so many big movie stars got their start on TV some even on soaps!

Have you seen any "big" stars in their first or early roles and remembered them?

For instance Leo Dicaprio was on Growing Pains when he was 13. Brad Pitt, I believe, was on Guiding light or Edge of Night or some early soap. George Clooney was on Facts of Life and then Roseanne.....

I just think it's neat.

Meg Ryan was on As the World Turns, Kevin Bacon was on Guiding Light, David Hasselhoff was on Young and the Restless, Marissa Tomei was on As the World Turns... (yes, I watched a lot of soaps in my college days/early 20s!) Oh, and Tommy Lee Jones was on One Life to Live! Rick Springfield of course on General Hospital, as well as John Stamos as Blackie, and Demi Moore as Jackie. Brad Pitt was on Another World :) I could name more but I won't - LOL
 
I used to watch As The World Turns too! My mom got me hooked when I was 9 and home sick. LOL.

I loved that show. It was so good. Better than Days and Guiding Light in my opinion. I was sad when it went off the air.
 
I haven't watched MASH in ages...I didn't realize Patrick Swayze was in an episode! I need to get my boys to watch MASH. I used to love it when I was younger!
I watched General Hospital when I was in high school (Luke & Laura era)...but not really after that :)
