Using Search in the store

I'm just curious. Is there a secret to using the search in the store? Especially for the Gingerbread Ladies combos. It would be so much easier to find a kit if I knew the key to searching, lol!

I would love to know the secret too Becky :) I was trying to narrow a search to Gingerbread Ladies Challenge kits. I tried every combination I could think of, July would show up with a lot of totally unrelated things. Finally just gave up.

I usually use the advance feature- click on the "More Options" This will give you more ways to narrow down the search. I tried a couple searches "school" + "Gingerbread Ladies" (in the Manufacturers field) and "fall" + "Gingerbread Ladies" and got good results. A lot of time when I am browsing stores for items to add to my wish list I will choose the Category: Kits and a designer to search by. Most of this time this just gives you kit results without having to scroll through all the add-on packs. A little faster way to see what is available and if I see something I like then I set the Category to None and type the kit name in the keyword field and choose the designer to see fi there are add-ons I am interested in.

I second the advanced options search. I learned that after I tried for a while to use just a regular search and didn't want to search through 10K kits.

The advanced options are the best when you're looking for something!

The only thing I would like to have is the option to sort things under a designer - so you easily could find templates, collections etc.
