Unfortunately Broken

Unfortunately, I have broken my arm and my ankle, which makes scrapping impossible, not to mention walking and a dozen other things. I can't type much either. I feel very sorry for myself. I give you all permission to cheer me up :)

Oh that is so horrible. How did you manage to break both your ankle and arm? I'm imagining myself doing that and the playback isn't pretty. :)

Rest up and hopefully you will be feeling better quickly.

Your arm AND your ankle?? You sure don't do things by halves Miss Lynnie!! You just rest up now and let your body heal, then come back and wow us with your amazing LOs!! Big hugs!

Oh yikes! Hoping there are family and friends to assist you. Hang in there. Prayers for smooth healing. Take this time to rest and reflect. Perhaps start a project you can do while recuperating.

OMG, I'm imagining all the different ways that could happen and although plausible, none of the scenarios are pleasant. I'm going to imagine you were skiing, coming down a black diamond run, your hair flying in the breeze and then someone cut in front of you and you wiped out. Perhaps gone were practicing your quadruple double axel and caught your toe pick in the ice. No, maybe your were skating with your doubles partner, he threw you into the air, caught his toe pick in the ice and missed you on the way down. Perhaps your a klutz like me and have zero coordination.............. Whatever happened, I'm sending you hugs, prayers, and wishes for a swift recovery.

Oh, no! That really stinks! I really hope you find something to do while you are healing. Maybe you need a Kindle so you can read some good books.

Oh man...a double whammy!!! Sounds like you have a challenging recovery ahead. Hang in there!!! Sending good vibes for a speedy recovery!

Ouch!! I Just seen this today!! Take care and get better!! Hope you aren't having a lot of pain.

Close - very close! I was walking down a dark corridor and fell down a step while I was doing the quadruple double axel. I rolled my foot on the step and put out my arm to catch myself. I am only just regaining the use of my arm. Sad....

Thanks for all the cheering up :) I was not able to type until this last week. Thanksgiving and Christmas were really tough. I could not shop in the real world for Christmas, could not craft and was on disability, so could not afford to shop online. It was a real challenge. It certainly did teach the true meaning of Christmas and family, though. This year, it was definitely NOT about the presents.

I'm glad you are getting some mobility back. Your fall sounds horrible but I am sure the quadruple double axle was quite impressive.

And your Christmas sounds actually really nice. I am not a fan of all the commercialism of Christmas. I like thoughtful, homemade gifts but my kids all think it is about the Amazon truck and the big old dollar.

So sorry to hear about your accident! Braking bones is the worst and takes so long to heal, do everything they tell you and hopefully some PT at the end will help.

Thank you :) I am looking forward to feeling better!

OMG! That quadruple axel must have been awesome! I hope you are feeling better, and I am glad to see that you are getting some typing in. I hope that you are able to do all you need to do soon!

It was something to behold :) I am feeling much better, although it will be several months until it is healed properly.
