Unable to link text when uploading layouts

The last several layouts I've uploaded I've been unable to link text. I can put the link in the text but when I highlight it and select the link icon and put in the address it just reverts to plain text. Any help would be greatly accepted! Thank you!!
 
I usually instead of adding the link I highlight the name of kit or template etc. and then hit the link icon and put the link in there but only after I have posted the layout first then I go back once it posts and do it then otherwise the link does not show up for me.

I always do the same like you, but at the moment it doesn't work. Not during posting, not after posting.
 
I wonder if it has to do with the browser you are using? I just tried and it worked normally for me.
Dj: I edited your layout credits for your latest layout and linked the kit you were trying to link. I tried highlighting the link and then linked it using the link icon and I also tried just copy and pasting the link directly, both worked normally for me.

Maybe see if your browser needs to be updated? Or if you recently updated it, the new version might be causing the issue. It's hard to track down little issues like this. Especially when I can't duplicate it and produce the issue myself.

I use Chrome and always have. I'll keep tabs on it and see if I can pinpoint what it is. Thank you!
 
It does sound like it is a chrome issue, unfortunately that is not something I will be able to fix.

Just keep putting the link and people can highlight is and copy and paste it over to a new tab/window. Not ideal, but at least it is an option :)

Hopefully the next time Chrome does an update this issue will be fixed.
 
I always use Chrome, but today I tried to upload in Microsoft Edge. It makes no difference I'm still having this problem.

Updated Chrome today, it didn't help either.

What I found that works for me in Chrome is to make a Google Doc where I put everything I want in the description, add the hyperlinks to the text, then copy and paste the text into the box where the description goes. So far it has worked perfectly.
