So first, my 8 year old broke his lower canine tooth off. It shouldn't come out till he is 12... Thankfully we were able to pull it without needing a full extraction but the root is still in there and the dentist will need to go in and remove it when we return from vacation. So I thought, geez...
Then the toilet overflowed for me all over my bathroom last night.... So I was thinking before bed, this week is turning out kinda rough. I had no idea.
As luck would have it, I am sitting in the ER at Lebonheur Childrens Hospital with my son. While playing on the playground at school and climbing the twisty tower thing with holes, his shoes got caught and when he "jumped" his foot didn't let go. He flew face first into the ground only stopping himself with his forearms. Broken the bones (both radius and ulna) in his left arm near the wrist. Because of how bad the break is, he requires sedation to set it and then we will have to wait for him to wake up. Waiting till 11pm to roll around so we can get the sleeping stuff going....
What's next?????
I'll definitely get a scrap page out of this!
