I get an upgrade in about 2 weeks! I have a Samsung S4 mini that SUCKS. Right now it freezes if I get more than 3 texts in a row, if I'm on the phone and get a text, it hangs up on the phone call. (which drives my mother batty LOL)

I do love the android platform but also love IOS, so I'm torn. I like the Samsung Note 5 (I need a BIG phone to see now) and I also like the look of the iPhone 6 + but I am not willing to pay 349.00 for the phone right now. :(

I want a great camera obviously. DH has the Galaxy S5 and loves it, but I think the note is the way to go.

Anyone have a note?

We have Windows photos and I love them. However, we don't get all the fun apps that Andriod and Apple products get. So when we are able to upgrade, sadly I atleast, will be getting an Apple.
 
I have a Galaxy Avant and I LOVE it! It came out between the 5 & 6 so it has some of the best features of both and is about the size of an iPhone5.

I did see the Avant however, it's too small for me! LOL...I need big print so I can see it without putting on my readers. haha.

As far as apps, they are VERY limited. I hate being told I can't get discounts because there isn't an app for the Windows phone. My biggest pet peeve, is I can't use the Cartwheel app because there isn't one for Windows phones. So when I go in to the store, I try to access Target Cartwheel through the internet and I ALWAYS get errors saying they are saving the use of cartwheel for those who use the app or something silly. I show customer service my "error" notice all the time and they go look for the discounts on their phone so I can get the discounts. It's SO annoying and SO frustrating. I was just in Target yesterday and my cashier was like "what do you want me to do about it if your phone doesn't open up the app" and he refused to give me my discounts. I went to Customer Service and she said "sorry, if you can't access it, we can no longer do it on our own accounts" Like anyone really gets any monetary reward if it's done on their account or not. Blech. Really hate Cartwheel, but really hate that there isn't an app for Windows users! :D
 
I have the S5 and I won't be upgrading anytime soon (AT&T is giving us 2x the data until the end of our contract in 2017, so yeah, hehe), and even if I had the option, I won't until Samsung brings back removable battery AND puts back waterproofing (S5 is waterproof up to 30 meters for 30 minutes ... including swimming ;))

I know right!!! Prices of phones doubled and tripled here when the TCC (telecommunications Canada) decided that phone companies couldn't charge a 3 year contract. Now the max is two years and so what did they do? Raised the phone prices and now you don't get a "free phone" unless it's two or three years old. Ticks me off. They are making money hand over fist with data charges and monthly payments anyway!
 
OMGeeee phone prices are ridiculous. Verizon also switched up their phone plans and deals so now it's full price. OR pay installments which jacks up your phone bill. UGH

Very cool Sarah! We just bought a similar set this weekend. We're going to the Grand Canyon and I insisted on a selfie stick for that so we can get cool pictures. I'm excited to play with it.
 
My husband is disappointed I bought it (I did ask first) because he wanted to get it for my birthday, but I needed it for Vlogmas (Dec 01 - 25 daily vlogging ;)) :D

Aww poor hubby, lol! Not to hijack the thread, but do tell about Vlogmas!

This is what we got https://www.bestbuy.com/site/retrak...lack/4423100.p?id=1219745807100&skuId=4423100 We weren't planning on getting all that, but it works with the GoPro too, so it's still cheaper than buying all that extra stuff for two different cameras.
