SURPRISE weekend with hubby!!

SO Tuesday was my birthday-I am now 35 GASP! My husband sent me flowers and balloons from Royers, and bought a Pellman's triple chocolate layer cake which just made my day. He is also taking me away for the weekend WITHOUT THE 3 KIDS!! We have NEVER been away over night without the kids! He told me it's a bit of a drive, and I need to pack warm clothes, and something nice to go out to eat later. I'm so excited!! I have no idea what we are doing or where we are going! I have so much to do to pack for 3 kids plus myself, but I can't concentrate!!
 
Eeek how exciting for you!!! A whole weekend kid-less sounds amazing!! <3 (lol although I'd settle for just a few hours right now!)

What a wonderful idea of your hubby, I totally can understand that you are excited! Have a wonderful time, enjoy it!

So we are home now :(, but we had a great time! My husband took me to see the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins vs. Hershey Bears hockey game. We are big Pittsburgh hockey fans, but since that is 4 hours away, and not really do-able in a weekend, we did the next best thing! I knew who most of the players were from when they had been called up to the NHL, plus the goalie is phenominal for being so young, and our seats were right in front of the ice across from the goalie=AWESOME SEATS & they won! We stayed in a Holiday Inn, and it was so nice and CLEAN! I loved it! We did some shopping, too. It was a great weekend!

The kids said they had fun staying with their aunt and uncle and 4 cousins, but they didn't really sleep much. They are all napping right now. I hope they don't wake up grumpy!

That sounds like so much fun! I hope the kiddos woke up happy and refreshed from their naps! ;)

How awesome is that! Not only that you get to go away, but that you hubby was so thoughtful to plan the whole thing for you. Very romantic!! Have a great time
