I love how our scrappy community cares so much about one another. Let's make each other smile today. Tell me something that make you smile lately.
 
I'll go first. I'm a big animal lover and our pets make me smile every single day (Taz our doodle and Noel our cat). This morning, Noel positioned himself on the counter, in front of my phone (I was trying to read my book on my app) while drinking my morning coffee, and started stretching and pushing his nose up onto my face to give me his kitty kisses.

I could not help but smile and give him some rubs and scratches. He started doing this in the last couple of weeks. He sits beside my phone as I read for 30-45 minutes but this morning he decided he wanted me to pay attention to him, not the phone LOL.
 
Great idea, Rae! What makes me smile are the photos and videos of my new granddaughter that my son and DIL send almost every day. She was born 2 months early and it's been wonderful to see her progress in the NICU. Soon she will be able to go home! :)

I am still smiling over having got to watch my Little Man ( my grandson, Andreas) play his first game of football. It was so fun to watch as the children were around 6 years old. I captured some great photos so no doubt they will appear in a layout sometime soon. This happened last Sunday.

I bet that was fun to watch. Little kids sport activities are always so entertaining.
 
Nice little things make me smile - indoor flowers (when I see new leaves growing, buds blooming), my paintings by numbers (when I paint them and see how beautiful it turns out). Sometimes the reason for smiling is a sunny morning when you wake up completely rested and full of energy. Life becomes brighter when you know how to enjoy the little things.

Nellie - that is absolutely right, waking up rested and full of energy on a sunny morning is perfect. Especially at this time of year we have to appreciate the sunny mornings b/c here on the west coast we start getting a lot of rain.
 
My grandchildren, for sure :) They make me laugh when they laugh about nothing, when the simplest things make them happy, when they have no cares in life but what is next on the table. I am super grateful for my kids who send me great pictures to scrap....pictures make me happy!
