Spinoff thread.... Favorite go-to colors?

I really liked this month's Buffet too. It seems to have a bit of everything in it, except red, but I can deal with that. I like kits that work for girls or boys and have a variety of elements that work for both too. Those are the kind of kit's I'm attracted to.
 
Oh dear - I like all colours really. I looked at my gallery, and apparently I have no favourites. I do like blendy, sherberty colours for backgrounds, though.
 
Definitely dark blues, black, greens... natural colors. I love wood textured backgrounds, too.

yes, I agree with the blues and greens... my favorite real life colors! esp since we hike a lot, I use those for nature and travel pictures!

hmmm...in life I adore mustard and mint. black and white. but in my layouts I am alllll over the spectrum! I tend to match to photos, particularly the clothing of my kiddos so usually brights...I also scrap a lot of farming life so John Deere green and yellow with grungy elements always catch my eye! Great question Em!
 
I’m typically drawn to bright colours, as well as blues and greens. Except for my wedding photos, which are black, red, white, and cream, mainly due to my husband’s formal dress uniform (mess kit) colours. Otherwise, bright colours, and blues and greens. Blues, greens, and neutrals tend to be what I gravitate to in my wardrobe and professional life.
 
I love purples & greens but I tend to use a mish mash of colours when i scrap to see what best compliments the photo or the kit I have chosen at the time

Isn't it funny how our in life colors are not always similar to the colors we scrap with. You are right, the colors of the kit tend to match the kiddos, lol..

blues and greens are colors after my own heart! I love the Earthy type kits, esp the Free w/ Purchase. I'm still debating which picture to use with it!

Purple is one color that I have difficulty scrapping with. Esp the bright purple, I can use the muted, soft purples in layouts, but the bright ones, I can't seem to make it work ? lol..

Maybe you need a hat! (OK - so I used those pictures more than once!) I could have scrapped with bright purple here!



 
Since I have one child, a boy, blues and greens and my favorite go-to colors. I tend to use more than those colors, but I rarely use pink, purple and yellow.
 
Lynnie, you guys are absolutely adorable! Yes, maybe since my family does not wear purple too often, that color doesn't get scrapped too often...
