I did a scan of my 'F' drive today looking for duplicate photos. Well I had +10g of them... :(
It's better now, still not perfect.

I still need to process many many RAW into JPEG photos.

ps- a scan of the digi drive "D"...showed many multiples as well.:36_1_37:

guess I'm hooked.

How do you do this?
There are several different ways. CCleaner has a spot in it that will search. Plus you can search for them.

I prefer: Easy Duplicate Finder
https://www.easyduplicatefinder.com/
https://download.cnet.com/Easy-Duplicate-Finder/3000-2248_4-10692636.html

I only use the free version.
Step 1: click get started, then scan
Step 2: Add the folder or folders you wish checked [then patiently wait- giggle] It will come up with how many duplicates plus the amount of space used.
Step 3: Go fix them. They will provide a list [in my case a very long one]... You select the one you wish too keep.
***my suggestion on how to use it. Right click and preview to make sure it's the same. Then > open containing folder. Or just follow the path. I delete on my own.
IF you choose the little box to 'x' and delete, it allows about 10 items. Then they want you to pay for it.

So, I delete myself.

WOW!! That's awesome, 10GB of duplicates, wow! LOL, I'm scared to see what I have. I know I have lots of dupes of pictures, mainly because I want to make sure I have copies of them at different places...lol.
