Hi, my name is Melody Drayer and I can be found at Facebook under "Melody Rochelle Cotten Drayer'. I am the proud Mel Mel of 16 grandchildren and i have 3 girls and 1 boy as children. I live in Quinlan, Tx which is right outside of Dallas. I am disabled and live alone. I started DSB in 2004. A girlfriend and I, both nurses started our store... 2 Nurses a Scrappin'. I fell in love with it instantly. Then came raising kids and took up all my time. I was an RN and also a professional photographer so I have Thousands of photos to scrap. This past summer I found GS and decided to get them done. I also found Templates which I am now addicted to. I am on CTs for Carol W Designs, Scrapbookcrazy Creations by Robyn, Twin Mom Scraps, Miss Fish, The scrappy Kat and The Britt Chick. Two of these i am going to have to resign because I was so fortunate to be accepted by Sheri. I have found so many great people on here just since last summer. God Bless......

Hi Melody!
It's so wonderful to meet you! Thank you for sharing a little about yourself — what an inspiring journey you’ve had. Sixteen grandkids? That’s amazing — I bet they keep your heart full and your life busy in the best way! Your nursing background and photography experience must give you such a unique perspective when it comes to storytelling through scrapbooking.

I love that you’ve come full circle back to digital scrapbooking after all these years — and I totally get the template addiction; they’re such a game-changer! You’re on some incredible creative teams, and I know Sheri must be thrilled to have you on hers too.

So glad you found GingerScraps — the community wouldn’t be the same without people like you. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work and getting to know you better!

Welcome Melody, you have been around here for a little while now, nice to learn more about you. I take a tiny bit of credit for all those creative teams you are now on having pointed you in the direction of the calls back at the beginning of your time here:)
