shutterfly photo book question

So I am looking to print the first time with shutterfly, I can not for the life of me find where I can just create my own book with cover and pages. All the books are their format. Anyone have suggestions. TIA
 
Once you select your book style and size, (I usually just choose the Simple Modern style) you'll be taken to the page where you create your book. Along the left edge is a tab titled "Layouts". Choose "1 photo" then scroll down to the full page spread (the solid grey block.) Then just drag your page in. Repeat with each page!
 
I've been printing from Shutterfly for years now. Yes, you can custom design your covers, etc. They have a 100 (plus a few) page limit. However, I would suggest that you try and stick to 90 or less. I had ONE huge book that was right at 100, and it eventually started pulling apart. They did replace it, but I truly think it just wasn't meant to be more than 90 if you're gonna flip through them that often!

Thanks for the warning! I'm doing a Project 52 with 2 pages for every week and that will bring me up to 105 pages. I may need to squeeze down a few weeks. LOL
 
and wait till they have their "free unlimited pages" sale. You still pay regular price for the book which includes I think 20 pages and shipping, but the free pages are a real bonus when you are doing 100 pages.
 
I was going to suggest waiting for the free extra pages, too. At Christmas, I printed some with other "deals" and some with this one. I was able to get a layflat deluxe album with more pages for the same price as a small album without lay flat.

Jennie said how to select your page layout, but also, I wanted to add that you can make all layouts match. Once you have made your first page the full photo layout, click on the "Page" drop down (upper left under Shutterfly logo) and select "Apply to other Pages" and check "Layout" and it will make ALL the page that full page layout to match and you do not have to keep selecting it.
