I'm just wondering why my shopping cart doesn't empty after I purchase what is in it. It has been like that for a long time now. Thanks! Carolyn
 
I'm happy yo help you with this.
This issue (of the cart not emptying) is usually due to a browser setting or issue. Most of the time it will be resolved when you update your browser.


We have our shop set up to retain the items in your cart, so that you can add items and then come back at any time to add more and checkout once you are ready. However sometimes (usually due to an out of date browser) the cart will not empty upon checking out.


It is always a good idea to log in and check your cart to make sure it is clear before adding new items.


Of course any time you accidentally purchase something twice, just let me know and I can give you a refund or a credit to the designers shop where the duplicate purchase was made.
 
Thanks Ginger! My browser is up to date so not sure why it is doing this! Only time it is a problem is when I make a purchase then come back weeks later and can't remember if I purchased the items! I just go to my order history and check if I purchased them or not. I do like that items remain in cart if I am shopping and want to continue later. Not a big problem I was just curious!
 
Hi Ginger, Just a heads up that it is a problem for me too, across multiple up to date browsers. Chrome, IE and Firefox have all had the issue. I always clear my cart now before shopping. I have heard a few other people having the same issue.
