I am so bad at decorating. I really have no clue. My husband got all the "style" in this family. So the more I try to keep my house clean, the more I realize I hate little doodads and things- because I hate dusting them! I love clean surfaces that I can just run a cloth on and then get on with my life. But we have all these little "things" that we've collected, mostly traveling- shells, shuttle launch patches, cool rocks, etc. And lots of awesome little origami creations Charles has made. I love them but I HATE picking them up and dusting them.
Does anybody have ideas for showing them off in a different way? I was thinking of a shadow box or something? I do have some sand and shells in an old salsa jar, and that's about the extent of my "decorating" I should really paint that lid so you can't tell it's a salsa jar.....
