Searching For Some Kits!

So iNSD may be over, but I'm still on the hunt for certain kits. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be eternally grateful! If you're on the hunt for a kit, post here as well, and maybe someone can help you out too!

My kit needs/requests:

1. Adult back-to-school. I'm going back to school for a PhD, so the kid-friendly kits simply don't work. As much as I love colouring and kid-friendly fonts, a PhD involved neither.

2. Star TREK. You know, the Enterprise, James T. Kirk, Spock (live long and prosper), Picard (make it so!), the first inter-racial kiss on TV (Kirk and Uhura), saving the whales (Star Trek IV), the Borg, etc. So many Star Wars kits out there (I'm a fan of both) but I haven't had luck finding anything Star TREK.

3. Ancient Rome. Something serious, not cutesy. A former GS designer had one kit I used for these sorts of photos, but she's gone, and I much prefer to use GS stuff. Actually, any ancient Civilization for that matter.

4. Girl GUIDES. Those of us in the Commonwealth have Girl GUIDES, not Girl Scouts. There are tons of scouting kits out there, but what about those of us who were GUIDES. Especially with word art, word strips, journal cards, etc., including some GUIDING stuff would be awesome. Guides were a part of my life from age 5 to 19, and while I only have a few photos, it would be awesome to have an appropriate kit to scrap them with (even if it were a scouting kit, but included some Guiding elements). some examples:

I'm totally with you on guiding and the terminology our guides use for different ages. And the colours to match. My daughter is a ranger right now, has been in guiding over ten years.

I'm back in college too (but just for my Bachelor's) so a good adult themed school kit would be great. I have used some of the elements from this kit by Magical Scraps Galore, although a lot of it is high school themed. Otherwise, I haven't really found a lot yet, so will be watching for suggestions.

This doesn't appear to have word art, unfortunately, but it does have British and Canadian flags.

You are amazing. I thought of some of those kits while reading and then there you go posting previews and links! Answer me this, do you ever sleep? :)

Haha. I try to get plenty of sleep and I sleep very well. I can search stuff pretty quickly, lots and lots of practice with Google :) It did not take that long to search, so it was easier than it looks. I also really enjoy the challenge of hunting for things. I think I would have been a good researcher, I love the 'chase!'

This is a tiny bit cutesy with the school bus, but I like how the colors are muted and not so bright and flashy. Maybe too many dino images, but the word art and flowers are really nice :)

I know it's most likely my fault as I don't follow the blog really, but who and when are kits 4 kids?

I often wonder why the forum doesnt have a section for introducing new designers and guest designers. Sometimes I find a new name in he designer section and I'm like ... where did they come from. Or when jb studio was just there again one day.

Hi Sherri, that through me for a while. You will find the Kits4Kids in Kristmess Designs section. She is one of the the two who produce these kits. They are not separate at all. I love her stuff, but I don't usually get the kids ones, since my kids are grown up now :)
