Scrapstacks questions!

Hi everyone,
Can you help me? I just joined scrapstacks, and I am trying to post my LOs into the gallery. However, it seems like I only get one chance at it. I can get one LO to load, but as soon as I try another one it just cycles and doesn't load. Anyone have any ideas?
 
Sometimes it just does that and yes it's a pain. Today I had good luck. 4 LO uploaded!
try not to have too many tabs or windows open.
its just finicky.

This used to happen to me all the time until it finally dawned on me what was going on. I would edit my LO to get the credits to copy, and then hit "save changes" before trying to upload to SS. If you look up at your link when you do that, it will say "no cache" at the end of the web address. That's the problem. SS can't read the link. Just refresh your page and make sure that the LO you are trying to upload has a complete link. :) Hope this helps.. if it makes no sense, let me know, and I'll try to explain more clearly LOL!
 
now adding links is the only 'easy' thing at that site for me, LOL. not sure why or how.
I just copy paste from the gallery here.

I tried uploading a new LO there yesterday and it just sat and spun forever without uploading it at all. I upload directly from my computer and usually it works just fine, but it definitely has been having issues this week!
 
I use the stack it button. I find it the best way without having the constant cycling. If you look at the menu on the side under your name, it says "stack it button" and you can find out how to load it to your menu bar there. :)

I always use that too.... just assumed that everyone was LOL! :)
 
I haven't been able to figure out scrap stacks at all, thanks for the hints ladies, will have to give it another try
 
One thing that saves me is that I uploaded the "Stack It" button to my bookmark bar. So, now instead of going to SS, I upload the layout anywhere (like here in the GS gallery), then click that Stack It button. It automatically grabs the image. Sometimes, it loads the text from the other gallery, but usually I just copy and paste my credits and add the linking (which is super easy in this window). Then, hit post. You can choose to see your new upload. Takes seconds instead of what used to take forever waiting for their site to "think"
 
Do you guys Stack to special stacks or just to your own personal stack? Like, do the designers have stacks we can add to? Or is there a GS stack? I feel like it's a neat resource, but I don't have the hang of it either.
 
I just uploaded a CT layout to SS and now it is working just fine - I have no idea why it would just sit and spin while uploading before. I've used the 'stack it' button before too, but this is just as easy.

I created my own stacks (folders/categories) and I'm sure it could be restacked to a designers "stack" if they have one open. None of my CTs require that so I'm not sure - I should try that for my Kelsey {Inspired} Studios design name...hmmm...now you got me thinkin'...LOL!

Never checked back here until today.... I personally have all of my own stacks created and stack to those (one for each CT I'm on and then a non-CT stack), but for Dagi I also stack to her CT stack. It is very easy to restack once you have uploaded your LO. Just the click of a button....
