How many photos are generally on your layouts? I usually scrap single photo page. I like the focus to be on one photo. When I paper scrapped it was the opposite. I tried to get as many photos as I could on one page.
 
Mainly 1, often 2 or 3, rarely more. I don't have heaps of photos, I'm not any sort of a photographer and mostly rely on the kids to send me photos of theirs and our grandkids' activities. I greatly admire the multiphoto LOs I see in the gallery though.
 
I seem to do a lot of one photo LOs, mostly for CTs. I need to get caught up and plan to do a lot more LOs with several photos.
 
I have the hardest time with 1 photo/white space layouts. I take a TON of photos. It is not unheard of for me to take over a 100 for one event/day, so I like multi-photo/double page spread! I was the same when I did traditional. If I do a 1 photo layout, I like it to be huge and really be the focus. I have to admit, when I see a white space layout, I am mentally thinking how much it would cost to print just that 1 photo on a 12x12 page.

I'm right there with you, Meagan! Even my 1-photo LOs are pretty full :) I take so many photos, too.... I will get them all scrapped...someday! ;)
 
For me it really just depends on the template I am using. Then I just have to dig through all my photos (virtual digging since they are all online) to find just the right one to go with the right kit and the right template. Sometimes finding a photo that is going to work takes me FOREVER!
 
If I am doing an art journal type page then 1 photo if I can. I do like to have a focal photo and then some smaller ones if possible.

It all depends on the following:

My mood
How creative I'm feeling
The Kit
how much time I have to do it. :)
 
It varies, but 1-photo layouts are not the norm - I prefer to use 3 or more. I have so many photos to scrap that I'd never get them scrapped if I did all 1-photo layouts. hehe
