So I am a very lazy photographer. Other than my moon shots, I shoot only in auto with my DSLR. Terrible I know, but for all my vacation photos we are usually on a tour and time is of the essence. As far as around the house, I just use my iphone. How about you?

Never on auto... I might on P. Or Aperture . Or Shutter...
Mostly on Manual unless it is my iphone.

I don't own a DSLR... mostly because I'm a lazy photographer. I want the shot & I want it quick! I have a point & shoot, but now I mostly use my iphone. Those do a decent job and I'm usually happy with my photos. Except for photos of the blood moon a few weeks ago...and the meteor shower a couple of months ago. Oh well, I'll look at other people's photos for those! :)

I have a Samsung S4 Mini and the camera is horrible on it! I can't wait to upgrade to get a better camera on the phone because it is so much easier and less cumbersome to carry!

That said, I shoot mostly on auto with my DSLR unless I'm doing a special shoot or family portraits for family. Then I shoot manual or on Aperture.

I'm a cell phone photographer. The last point and shoot I bought was in 05 or 06. I think my cell phone (Samsung 5) is just as good as that one. I do often go looking for a new point and shoot but the best camera is the one you have with you. And I always have my phone with me :)

I made the mistake of using my iPhone 4 for about 9 months of memories - never again. I have a dSLR and a little Nikon Point and Shoot on mostly manual. Every time I let it off of manual, my pictures suck. I'm apparently not a photographer.

Very rarely on Auto - they never seem to focus how I want them to! haha!

I do like P - have my settings that work most of the time locked in and that's like my "auto" but I do manual, Aperture and Shutter priority as well.

I use my cell phone a LOT, especially for my POTD, but its always a bit depressing the lack of quality compared to my DSLR, even for having a 'decent' camera on the phone! But the fact that its almost always with me, makes it my go-to for POTD, I should just get in the habit of carrying one of my point and shoots tho, the quality is so much better!

I also use auto on my DLSR. I think it takes too much time if you have to make the settings manually for each photo, and the photo moment will disappear. And I don't seem to find the time to read the manual of my camera thoroughly!

I have my camera set just the way I like it... The other day my brother took some photos at an event and changed my settings... I could have killed him! lol :D
Now now one is allowed to touch my camera ;) My cell phone has a crappy camera on it, it won't even allow me to tell it what to focus on, I can not wait to upgrade to a better phone, so I carry my real camera around a lot.

I don't have a huge DSLR camera, but my camera does have the ability to set the settings---I just don't know how! So I shoot in auto 90% of the time! I have tried some other settings; but they never seem to work right for me!
