RQOTD-Are you a cat or dog person?

I wonder if you can guess what I am, lol!!! Actually, we used to have ferrets because I am allergic to both cats and dogs. And then we found some kittens outside and well I think you can guess what happened with that! So how about you, cats or dogs or both or neither?
 
I consider myself a cat person, though I haven't had one for several years. I'm allergic to dogs, cats, rats, and guinea pigs (or at least to the hay they eat). We currently have a gecko (which I am not allergic to, but don't touch. The one time I did the coldness freaked me out) and a fish.
 
I have one of each, but I would have to say my preference is cats. They are much easier to care for, no needing to kennel and no grooming. Although the whole litter box kinda bites!

I've always had cats, though I suspect I'm developing allergies to Miss Kitty. She has long hair, so she does require a lot of grooming.

I don't have anything against dogs in small doses though. I had a Doberman growing up and he was the sweetest. :)
 
Cats! I have 3, 1 Orange and White Male Tabby, 1 Calico Female, and our newest addition a medium haired black and white little girl. She's pretty much my special needs kitty. She has been struggling with some skin issues and has been on and off antibiotics from a few months now. We are currently doing a food trial to see if that will help. Next up Allergy testing for her....Sigh.
 
Absolutely 1000% Doggie lover!!! (Well, except teacup/purse dogs. Those are really just rats IMO LOL)
 
Though I will admit that I miss my kitties that I used to have I am mostly a dog person. We have too many of them but I sure do love them.
 
Definitely cats!! I love that they are more independent than dogs. I like big dogs in small doses.
Danica, I'm jealous of your ferrets. My daughter always wanted one, but they are illegal in California :(

Definitely a DOGperson! Yes, we have cats and I love them, but I could never live without dogs around me!

I just can't stand humidity and hurricanes.

over the years we had fourteen if them. They always make me sad because they would always get some sort of cancer. They never lived very long. We would do chemo and meds, but their diseases would always win. So now we have cats.
