Hi everyone!

This is a re-introduction as I registered here about 4 years ago and then didn't have time for scrapping. So, this is the 3rd time I am back to scrapping! I've actually been digital scrapbooking for around 15 years but have had quite a long break as life got in the way!

Anyway, my name is Joy and am originally from England but moved to Sweden just over 10 years ago. I have 3 biological daughters, 1 foster daughter, 1 foster son and 2 grandchildren as well as numerous friends of my children who call me Mum too! I work as a teacher here in Sweden teaching English and Social Science. I have just finished my degree at the age of 47 so now have time for scrapping!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here!
 
Welcome back! Looks like you have a full schedule with lots to scrap. Can't wait to get to know you through your layouts.
 
Welcome Joy ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっYou sound just like me. I joined many years ago and life got in the way and I'm back too :) The challenges here are awesome.
 
Thanks everyone! I seem to not only be a bit rusty when it comes to scrapbooking, but also about checking forums! Am hoping to get to know more people - I have so many friends who I met through scrapbooking before who I am still in contact with (after over 15 years), so am hoping to make more!
 
WOW! I can see why you had to take a break from your hobby. It sounds like you have a wonderfully full plate and that you have accomplished big life goals! Congrats! That's what I love about this hobby.... you can always pick it right back up and tell your story. So glad that you took the time to re-introduce yourself to the group! :)

Just in case you have need of them, here are a few hints to help you around the site... Since you are an oldie but goodie, you might not need any of these.

Take a look at our great freebies in the GingerScraps Welcome Wagon Thread. Not sure if you are just scrapping with your existing stash, but if you are looking for extra stuff, this is a good place to hunt it down :)

News, announcements, sales are always important! You don't want to miss our sales when you are building your stash of Gingerscraps products:

Tutorials are really useful and can help you through the learning curve. There are all kinds of things to help you along.

Challenges are a great way to get some scrapping done.

And... don't underestimate the power of getting to know people - pop into the Everyday chatter forum and jump in!

You can also send a private message to anyone who acts helpful...

When someone leaves a comment on your layout - there is no need to say thank you. Although the thanks are much appreciated, we don't get notified, so they won't see it.
