Question about store sorting

So with the new store upgrade I notice that when I click on a designer or folder in the store instead of showing the newest items on the first page all my items are listed alphabetical. I've tried clicking on the default sort button a few times to see if it would change things, but doesn't seem to do anything. I really liked being able to see what was 'newest' on the first page of each designers store...otherwise I may miss things.

Anyone know of a way to get the store to sort by newest item for me? Appreciate your help!
 
I've noticed this too and wondered if it's because of the new linking? As something is relinked to the store, it becomes the "newest" item?

Great question.
 
Our IT specialist, Mr. Wyld Web is looking into it. The designers have been asking as well.

i sort of like alpha sort and I like newest as a choice too. I search and purchase all kinds of ways.

Yay, Yay!! The store is now sorted by NEW products!! I love it, now I won't miss anything new they've uploaded.

Yeah I always seem to struggle w/ the search box too, I know there is a kit in the store w/ a specific theme or whatever and never have much luck w/ the search box, not sure if that's because of the designers tagging or what...
 
I haven't had luck with the search box lately, either. Even when I type in the name of a kit and the designer, it keeps coming up with no results and some of my LOs aren't linked to the kit because of it. I figured they were still working on some things.

I was looking for some of Connie Prince's kits in particular, and I couldn't find:

Actually I believe some of them are still available but Connie hasn't been able to add them back into her store yet.
 
I just wish the store could read my mind...... ( giggle), but if it can't .. ( DH says my mind is scary)... I try to save links when I locate.

Thanks for the links, Amy! I was able to get in touch with Connie and she was gracious enough to get them back into the store!
