Photoshop Elements 13 is releasing tomorrow (Sept 24th).
If you use Elements? If so, what version?
And...the BIG QUESTION... are you going to upgrade?

I have 11. I probably will upgrade. I didn't for 12, because it wasn't a huge difference, but 11 to 13 has a LOT of changes, all of them good :D

I'm glad that Adobe is listening to customers and making more and more of regular PS features available for PSE.

I think I have 9. I haven't upgraded because the changes haven't been too huge. I doubt I will upgrade unless someone convinces me it is awesome. I know how to use this one... switching seems like too much work.

i have pse 10 - after the radical chance in pse 11 interface i said i would not upgrade unless pse10 gets way too outdated

i already saw one really bad new feature in pse 13-- if use use photo bin when u bring in papers /elements come in as smart objects

from what i read of pse13 if you are happy with pse 9-12, no real need to do so unless one of the new features is a must for you

I have 12 and haven't had it long enough to justify an upgrade. that being said hubby usually decides if I need to upgrade or not when the holidays roll around, so we will see! lol

Between 9 and 13, texts on a path, in a shape, and what-not were added, so that was a pretty big change (I don't remember if it was 10 or 11 that had that)

I read an article on The Daily Digi's site that showed the differences. There are several that sound good. I guess there are some bug fixes from 12, too.

I have 10 and can't justify needing an upgrade as long as it keeps working. I'm very happy with and still have barely touched the surface with what I can do with it!

hehe Well at least you have CS, I have been telling myself that I'm going to get CS instead of continuously upgrading my PSE, and yet here I sit, doing neither, lol. I have some corrupt files in my laptop which is where I do all of my scrapping, so I think I'll wait until I can afford a new 'puter before I try installing more software.

I love CS that's why I haven't upgraded or installed PSE6. I always say "go with what works" and I love using it. :)

I saw this on another group I belong to...if anyone wants to take advantage of it.

**Free Legit CS**
With all the conversations going on about different programs, I thought some might find this useful. Adobe no longer supports CS2 and is offering it for free here:https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=cs2_downloads# I have a copy that I quality check all the templates with and it works perfectly. If you have been wanting to switch but the outrageous price has thrown you off, this is a really good way around that and has all of the scrap-relevant functions of the latter versions.

I've owned almost every version since version 'zero'...I will be up dating. The reason I have had so many....I test product and assist with answers to problems. Plus was teaching.( retired now).
i scar with CS5.
m

I have access to CS5. I'll be honest. I prefer PSE. ONLY thing I miss is Bridge saving from RAW to JPG instead of having to open in PSE.

Trace, do you know for sure that this truly is legit?

Toni - it is a legit download, but it depends on where you get information from and how you want to interpret it.

You're really only supposed to download it if you have previously purchased it, but the link and code are out there for free. Adobe has disabled all the activation for CS2 because of an error on their end. Since it's several years old, they are no longer providing any updates to it (security or otherwise) and suggest not using it at all (like most software companies - they want you to get the new one).

Google "Adobe Photoshop CS2" and you will see several articles, plus be able to find the link (the one above doesn't work for me).
