Project 52

So I'm going to make a 2018 goal and I am hoping by posting it here I will follow thru with it.

I want to do Project 52 in 2018.

This year (2017) I participated in a Project 365 photo challenge. Where I was tasked with taking one photo a day every day for the year. So far (knock on wood here) I am on task to complete the year with at least one photo a day taken and posted to the group.

So my goal for 2018 is to do it again, but this time I want to scrapbook it. I figure one layout a week, plus a month in review is doable. That would be at least 64 layouts done in 2018.

Anyone else want to try with me?

I am. I also did a photo a day and have completed that since January 1st. Only 3 more days. I do a layout a day and hope to do that again next year. I do it for my journal.

I have been keeping a written journal. I write in a composite notebook and have done at least one page a day for 2,024 days (a little under 5 1/2 years).
I figure this will be a sort of photo diary to go with the Diary of a Bored Stay at Home Mom.

I'm totally about P52! There are challenges now and they count as part of the monthly challenges...as long as they are in the month it is completed. People have different takes on the challenges, whether it's just a solo picture depicting the week or daily pictures. I try to do daily pictures, but sometimes I don't have something for each day. I just do what I can without stressing myself out, lol...

While I don't want to do a project 52 thing, I do want to get back to scrapping - would like to do at least a layout a week this year, I have so much to get caught up on. I didn't do any scrapping to speak of this year until the past couple of weeks (the challenge kit got me LOL).

I've done it the last three years with the Project Life App, and using Over App or Affinity Photo, all on my iPad, I then print in photo books from shutterfly.

Great FB group to keep me on track.

Good luck on your projects everyone! I'm excited to see so many doing P52! I've been doing it since 2010. I do great with taking photos, not so great with always scrapping them, LOL. But I keep chugging away, year after year. :)

I am doing CY365 this year (actually bought the membership). I don't know about scrapping each photo but I will definitely scrap some for a new journey I am on.
