Problem With Photoshop CC

Hi Ladies! I'm hoping someone can help. Not sure what I've done wrong, but let me tell you what's happening. All of a sudden I'll place a photo on my layout and choose "Create Clipping Mask" and my photo disappears! No matter what I do, it just disappears. I have changed photos thinking it might be the photo I was using and that didn't help. I went as far as uninstalling my Photoshop and reinstalling it and that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas? I work on a desktop (Word). It's brand new so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks for checking in. I can't do anything until I get this fixed and I'm kind of panicking :(.

Have you tried Youtube? That's usually where I find my answers when I can't figure it out. I did read that sometimes when it shows the photo has disappeared that the layers are in the wrong order. I don't know if that helps, but I wanted to at least try to help.

Make sure your photo is above the layer you want to clip it to and didn't land somewhere else in the layer palette when it got placed. That has happened to me a few times and I don't reaize it until the clipping it didn't geive me what I was expecting.

Hi Lynn, hopefully you have solved your problem by now. These kinds of issues are perfect for the Adobe User forums. You can just do a search or go to community.adobe.com. Post a screenshot of your issue, including your layers. There are lots of people there that can help - including me :).
