Prayers needed, PLEASE

My hands are literally shaking as I type this. I don't usually share personal stuff like this, but I need to get this out. So here goes...I got a call from my aunt (who just had a knee replacement with major complications, she is now home and doing better)and she told me my other aunt (through marriage) is in intensive care in the hospital. SHe is an alcoholic and apparently she took it upon herself to quit cold turkey--and I guess that didn't go too well. I don't know what hospital she is in, or anything else, because my uncle isn't even allowed to go see her. I'm guessing its a rehab, but that's all I know. Here is the worst part, my aunt and uncle have 4 kids, a 12 year old and 7 year old triplets. My uncle is the only one who works ( and he works all the time, long hours). So now he needs someone to take care of the 4 kids while he is at work. That's were I come in. I'll be watching his 4 kids, plus my own 3. Please say a prayer for my aunt who is suffering with this horrible illness, my uncle to get through this mess, and the four kids who will suffer the most. THanks for reading and saying a prayer if you can. I just needed to take a minute to wrap my head around this all before I prepare to take on 7 kids.

Sending lots of prayers and hugs your way. Vent away...it's nice to have a safe haven to get things out!

Lynn, I will definitely pray for you and your family. My family has gone through 2 deaths this year (my dad and my uncle), which required us to move my mom in with us. It is all working out just fine, but it has definitely been a lot of stress to deal with.

You can do this!!! Your family is very lucky to have you there to be able to step in for them in their time of need. Those kids will need extra loving support during this scary time for them and don't think of it as "7" kids...think of each ONE. You'll be be giving each ONE exactly what they need. =) Take each moment one by one and remember to *breathe*. Prayers will certainly help get you through!

HUGS!

Oh Lynn! Prayers for sure. I understand the commitment to family. You have to do what you can. Prayers for all.
Stay strong. Yet save time for YOU. There are others I'm sure willing to give a needed break here and there.

Lynn, my thoughts are with you. Take it one day at a time and you will get through it.
I hope your auntie comes out OK at the other end, alcoholism is not easy to beat for most.
She and your uncle are lucky to have you to take care of their children. ♥

Lynn, I'm sending you cyber hugs and saying prayers for you all!! Kudos to your aunt for taking the first (huge) step to beat her illness! And bless your heart for helping out and asking for prayers ...!

Lynn I wanted to pop in and let you know your are still being thought of .... hope things are going smoothly for you all.

Sending hugs to you and prayers for your whole family. I pray that this hospital stay will be good for your aunt and she will be able to get the help she needs. Also praying that the kids are able to talk about it so they can heal. Remember to take time for yourself so you have the strength to take care of all of these kids {{Hugs!}}
