Prayer request

Most of you already know that my husband and I lost 99% of our belongings in a devastating flood on 28th February.
We cannot afford the repairs to our home and even if we could Ken is 77 years old and said he could not cope with starting again with our large backyard. The house will go on the market as it is next week. It is 1/4 acre in size with a large solid shed, two large water tanks, Ken's handiwork - small pavilion, small pond with waterfall and bridge are all still in good order. Please join us in praying for a quick sale.
We have our eye on a one bedroom unit (brand new fit out inside) in a retirement village in a small town (2160 population). If we can sell our house it would give us enough money to purchase the unit which they are holding for us but there is a limit to that time.

I am not very active in the forum as I am using our friends computer and have limited time on it as they run their own business from home. Hopefully next week I will be collecting my new laptop which will allow me more time on the internet. I am just hoping I can cope with doing digi scrapping on a small screen.

Anne-Marie, my thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with you, I have been thinking of you a lot since the disastrous floods. May your house sell quickly and the purchase go through successfully. I do all my scrapping on a 15cm screen laptop if that is any consolation.

Good luck on the sale of your home, Anne-Marie. I hope you get the price you want in the time you need. Hugs!!

Your place sounds like a wonderful rebuild for starting couple, sending prayers and best wishes for a quick sale. I hope you can be in your new home soon. :pleaseangle

Hugs and prayers that your house sale is successful and you can find some peace. May St. Joseph take you under his care.

just seeing your post Anne Marie, prayers that all went well. Any updates?

Our flood damaged house has sold (under contract with settlement happening next Monday - 20th). Once that money goes into our bank we then pay for our new little home which is a one bedroom unit is a retirement unit.
We have been like newly weds - buying all sorts of things for our new little home.

I've got my fingers and toes crossed everything went through ok and you're now in your new home.
