Pray I don't run out of Ink!

I just put two new cartridges in my printer and have one more standing by. I don't want to run out because it's how I do all my ct duties.
It's what keeps my mind busy. I'm out of work right now with all that is going on and only getting a portion of my paycheck. So with ink costing so much I may have to slow down on my kits. :cryhard. I just pray this will all be over soon and I won't have to worry about it. :)

Oh and when this is all over, if there is a card or project anyone sees and would like me to mail it to them I would be happy to. I've mailed several to people requesting them. It makes me happy. I'd send them now but I'm not sure how safe it is.

I hope everyone is staying home and staying safe. Praying for everyone!!

Hugs,
Tanya

I've seen your gallery, you make awesome cards and 3d items! If you do run out of ink right now maybe make the front of the card and plop that in a layout without worrying about printing right now! Or screenshot the card and put it in a layout? I don't know but there must be a way to show your beautiful work without having to rely on the printer. Good luck and keep creating!

Thanks so much for the kind words. I truly love what I do. Right now I have so many cards laying around. You would think I would be mailing them left and right.....well I'm the worst at getting cards out on time. When someone wants one, I do better and get it in the mail right away. I have given bags away to my customers at the bank I work at. I've sent a box not too long ago to one of the designers I ct for. It makes me happy to know someone actually wants them. :)

I've been thinking of the same thing. There has to be a way. I can always screen shot the front of the card I guess...but I can't figure the envelope thing out. I have been doing a few invites lately. They can be exported from Silhouette and put in PSE.
I might try a few things next week and see how they come out.

Why do you print all your CT duties?

I print because it's hybrid. I just recently started doing my invites just through the programs I use. I'm going to try to figure out a way to get a card to work too. I can't figure out how to get the envelope done. Not sure how to do a mock up. :)

Tanya - I admire your hybrid talent so much. Every single thing you post I fall in love with. The whole nature of hybrid is printing and pop-dotting and all that amazing tiny cutting you do and I would gladly pay you for a box of your cards. Maybe we need to do an ink fundraiser to keep you in business. :)

I just had a look at your gallery! I wish I had that talent. Great work! I do hope you find a solution to your problem.

OH Heidi!!! You are so sweet!! I just re read my post. I wish I didn't write it. It was right before I went to bed. I actually took a half of ambien, which I have been off of for at least 3 years now. (VERY proud about that) I remember posting my feelings on FB when after I would take one. Not such a great idea. Anyway....It sounded like I was asking for ink. I'm so embarrassed. :( It sure wasn't my intentions at all. I am worried about running out during all of this, but I would never ask for money.
I would be glad to send you a box....just because though...not for anything. It makes me happy when someone asks for one of my cards or projects.
You are so right....the physical part of putting together everything is half the fun of doing hybrid.

Awww your so sweet!! I think it's going to all work out. I usually have an extra of every color and I don't right now...I think I just freaked out.

I didn't read that first post as you asking for ink! I read it as, now that I'm home I want to work more and print more and hope I don't run out of ink.

People in general are very generous. Those here were being generous and offering to help if they could. We are hear to let out our feelings which most of the time we really can't do on FB because too many we know closely will just get all up into our business.

Don't feel bad that you wrote that. Be thankful that we have such a generous scrapping community here!

Thanks LilyAnn...those are very kind words. I agree the community here is always so sweet.

Fingers crossed for you that you don't run out or can order some from amazon or something. I print out my day sheets for work everyday but I don't often print much else so I think I'll be ok for awhile. I figure if it gets bad enough and I can't get the ink then I can take a photo of the day sheets online and then view it on my phone to get the info I need for each patient (I do medical transcription). Ink was one of those things I didn't think about when the pandemic started to get serious.

Sending positive vibes your way.
