I am addicted! Anyone else out there like playing? I try to get a raid or two in each day on my lunch hour! My boyfriend and I enjoy playing together!
 
Haven't been out much it's been way to cold for me. Will be trying to hit the event tomorrow to get xp and a pikachu with surf.
 
I used to play Pokemon too hehe But lately I mostly forget to put out my photo to hunt. Today I'm really addicted to Township. Love the coop!

Me! I got my first shiny Pikachu a few weeks ago. Played a lot when we were at Disney as it was the same weekend as the community day :)
 
Anyone still playing Pokemon Go? I am so addicted. Cant wait for this Sunday's Community Day. Recently I got shiny magicarp two days in a row, it was crazy cool!
 
me! lol.. I was in a lull, but started up again when they started the quests. I love the challenges. I have yet to get a Shiny Magicarp. We have the dragonite and venusaur. But I really want the red gyarados, so pretty!

I'm not sure how much hunting we can do on Sunday, my son has a track meet all day *sigh*
 
I am still playing -- but lately I have found that I am not getting any revives at pokestops

May be a silly question, but how do you know if it is a shiny magikarp or pikachu? I've been seeing those a lot these past few days, which is unusual since Im not near water.

My 12 yo makes fun of me for playing "her" game

LOL, Liz! My 11 year old is pretty bored with it. But I have him do while I drive. He's like, but I'm reading mom!, lol... that can wait! I'm such a bad mother, hahahhahah!

Usually shiney poke are a different color, some more dramatic than others. Here's a list I found, so neat!

thanks -- i have not found any of these. I knew about the yellow magikarp, but I never caught one. I've been saving up to evolve incase i do find one :)

there are so many, I had no idea.

usually I will go to the pokestops with the dog in the car -- he doesn't complain about it, and he loves when it is warm enough to walk & pokemon
 
Yes shinies will appear with sparkles all around them and they will be a different shade. Pikachu and Bulbasaur colors are very subtle but they will have the sparkles. You wont know if its shiny until you go into the catch screen. I have been pretty lucky with shinies. I have Sableye, Swablu, 3 Karp, Gyarados Mawile, Lugia, Absol, Pikachu, Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venosaur. Looking forward to Mareep and its evolutions this Sunday even though we are preparing for a Blizzard this weekend!
 
Wow -- that is lucky ! You must be in a great area to find them.
I pretty much have to drive to different places for Pokestops and gyms. Not much is within walking distance.
I have none of the special ones. I was really hoping to get the special magikarp so I could have the red Gyrados. Im still crossing my fingers.
Today is cold and rainy and I doubt I will be able to do much during the community event. I do hope that others find some special goodies.

I really wanted the pink one, too!! I was at my son's track meet during the event. I wanted to walk across the street to a nearby park, but his events were so sporadic!

I'm excited for next month.... hopefully we can all get the shiny charizard!

Oh my gosh, this is the funniest (in a good way) thread at GS! I never suspected that so many people here were addicted players. I played for a while, but then stopped. My poor DIL torn a tendon in her knee walking off a curb while playing. I got lots of walking done while I was playing. There was a stop right by my office and I would go walking every day and catch a few. Our local library turned into a madhouse one day when every one was stopping there to catch some.

Maybe I should start again :)
 
Due to family stuff I've been at the hospital every day since Thursday. I found a ditto and manAged to catch it for me, my daughter and my husband on their accounts. And not an hour later I caught a second one. Crazy stuff.

some of you must live in great areas

i was in the city last week for an appointment and was amazed at all the pokestops -- for me, finding two within walking distance of each other is a treat. there was one place I could go for lots of pokestops, but they all got removed at one of the updates. it was at a huge cemetery, but people were pokemon-ing nearby funerals and services, not to mention ruining the grass when they'd drive off the path.

i admit I have gone out of my way to visit a gym or two, but I definitely have not stopped at a church or a cemetery during a funeral.

I always found cemetaries to be an odd place for pokestops and gyms! And I cant believe that people were in there during funerals/ Come on people!
 
I have to admit, sometimes we will go to our local cemetery, esp when we had to find ghost types, lol! It was at night and no one was around, it was quite scary though! The cemetery is huge and has at least 20 gyms/stops all over.

I'm soooo excited! We grinded last night and finally got Mew! My son is good with the excellent throws!

I'm with you, Stephanie...I NEEEED that shiny wailmer! The cutest thing ever! Although I'm still pining of shiny magicarp.

We have until April 30 to find wailmer!!
 
Ive only ever lucked out and found dittos by catching tons of pidgies, and realizing later when i clean out my bag i had one. We got a foot of snow on mereep day so i only caught one at the house and it was not shiny. :(
