Pocket Scrapping: Template?

For a photo book.

1. Is there other names for Pocket Scrapping?
2. Templates: Rounded corners vs. not rounded on photos and JC?
3. Do you know of any freebies templates I can try?
4. Are there a rule about JC sizes? (It would be nice if there was a universal size).

I think I prefer..
- Not with plastic over the photos.
- Kind of "Clean look" (since its for a whole book).

Ideas, suggestions, Designers, links and previews..
All so very welcome!

Dagi also has a LOT of templates for pocket scrapping here at Gingerscraps. She has a new series right now called Reflections (and then by month). She also has a collection called Day By Day. I may be partial...but she's one of my favorite template designers! :)
4. Are there a rule about JC sizes? (It would be nice if there was a universal size). I don't think there are any rules for JC sizes....I always shrink/enlarge to fit.

4....no, but re-size for your needs.

They could possibly go by: Project Life, Blocking, Pocket

2. Templates: Rounded corners vs. not rounded on photos and JC?
some templates have rounded, others have square edges, it just depends on the template

3. Do you know of any freebies templates I can try?
I do, but I cannot promote them at this time since they are non-GS. But if you check the Welcome Wagon, Designer's Facebook pages and blogs, you might find a few. They are out there, you just have to look for them.

4. Are there a rule about JC sizes? (It would be nice if there was a universal size).
Journal cards should come 3x4, 4x3, 4x6 and 6x4
pocket pieces generally come in 2x2, 2x3, 2x4, 3x2, 4x2 and 4x4 pieces. There are some other sizes, but those ones you just resize to fit your template/page as needed.
 
Since it's May 1st, my guest store opened and I can officially advertise my pocket templates!!






I recently found pocket scrapping and really enjoy how easy it is to get a lot of photos on to a page, as well as a lot of details. Because of it, I've created a whole new line of templates, Pixie Pockets, which are perfect for pocket scrapping. With some of my releases, I have pocket elements in my store, which are perfect for these pocket templates--just drag and drop and you are done!!
