Calling all planner people! Let's chat. I wanna hear about your planning styles, planner layouts, decorating, etc.!

  • What type of planner(s) do you use? Layout, size, rings, book, or disc-bound, etc.
  • Do you use stickers in your planner?
  • Do you draw in your planner?
  • Do you have special markers/pens for your planner?
  • Do you use a digital or physical planner or both?
  • Anything else you want to share! Pics? Inspire us!

I use two planners: one for biz and one for personal appts/to dos. One is half-letter and the other is letter size. The smaller is a dashboard layout and the larger is vertical. Both are disc-bound.

I love to use stickers, either store bought or print and cut. Did you know we have a Planner section in the store with print and cut stickers?! There may be a few from me in there. ;)

I've tried drawing in my planner, but it's not for me! I have lots of pens, highlighters, and brush pens. My go-to is the uni-ball Signo Micro 207 ballpoint pen.

I also use Google Calendar, especially for pre-planning!

Here's a recent planner decoration from me:

I used these planner stickers:

I live my life by my planner, but it's all electronic. I keep my professional, personal, and hubby's meetings and doctors appointments on my calendar. That way, I have everything at a glance when scheduling new stuff. I do make sure to set aside free time so I don't get so bogged down (a lesson learned during the stay-at-home portion of the pandemic). I've also gotten pretty good at saying "no" to every little thing. Less is definitely more.

One of my coworkers has started selling physical planners. She brought them in to show me... and my younger grade school days of getting a new Trapper Keeper and pens for school came rushing back. I used to love getting new supplies. However, while her stuff was cool (she had all sorts of different products and tools and accessories depending on what you needed to track and your preferred method for keeping organized), I knew that I would just stick with my Microsoft Office calendar and call it a day. I've also recently migrated from Basecamp to Microsoft Planner to keep organized for large work projects. There was a small learning curve, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I love that you have created printable stickers for planners! I love the idea of being able to color-coordinate my weeks and days with stickers. :)

It's good that you know what works and didn't waste money/time on the fancy planners (though I would've been tempted too!). I used to use Basecamp for work! I've never heard of anyone else using it.

YES!!! OMG... where do I start? I use multiple Passion Planners, mostly the medium size (6x9 roughly). Yes, I am sticker hoarder and yes, I am a washi tape hoarder, too. I have more pens then I could use in a lifetime, and no, I didn't know there was a planner section. I have a digital planner that I use as well as a physical one for work...It's pretty no nonsense. I doodle, put lots of stickers, color code, and do lots of checklists in my planner(s). I feel like unless I write it down there is a gigantic chance I won't remember it. My go-to pens are Energel .7 pens, but I do love the 207 ones, too. They are my second choice.

Glad to see I am not alone in this planning thing... although I have converted 3 of my friends...

Yayy!! Do we need to start a planner club?! haha! I've got a couple friends and my mom to do disc-bound with me. We have to find (or make) our planner people!

I can tell you that I LOVE the planner idea and love checking out others but when I come to myself I suck at keeping up! I can't remember how many times I´ve started one...
