Photo fun

Since we're self quarantined to our home and walking around our neighborhood, I've decided to challenge myself to snapping some candid shots around the house with my 50 mm lens. Food, Taz, random spots around the house, pics of mundane daily life activites and chores around the house, etc.

I've started carrying my phone or camera with me on walks around the neighborhood to snap photos along the way. Yesterday Taz was so excited to see two ducks in the creek. Normally they aren't there b/c there are too many people around but with the isolation, its been much quieter outside and we are seeing more wildlife in areas we don't normally see them.

Great idea Rae, I have been meaning to take more neighborhood photos and since the streets are quiet, it 's a great time to start. Be back soon with some shots.

Love this idea, I have certainly been spending most of my time this week out taking photos. We have taken a break from the city and are up at our lakehouse. Such a pretty time of the year and this is the first time since I was in high school that I have been able to be here longer than a long weekend! So needless to say I am soaking it all in!


Hopefully this image will show up - here is a heron from one of my boat rides earlier this week.
