Paper planner, anyone?

Hi everyone!
I am still an old school paper planner kind of girl. I even bought a digital planner this last month on a Black Friday sale. I have really wanted to love it. I love that it doesn't have a mess, but then... well, then I forget to use it. It isn't like my paper planner where I carry it around everywhere and look at it all the time. Anyway, that leads me to I really want to make some stickers for my planner. I have used the same planner type for the last 7 years. I have purchased many stickers on Etsy that I love. However, recently, I was thinking.... why am I buying stickers when I digital scrap and I could probably make the stickers I want. Now... I am not looking to sell stickers. I just want to be able to print and cut (with my scissors) the time block stickers that I want in the color I want without having to pay 8 dollars for a single sheet of stickers that fit my planner. Now don't get me wrong, those designers deserve the money they get. It isn't about that. It is more about I think I can make a square to fit my planner square to say appointment.

Anyway, we will see how it goes. I am sure that it won't be the first time that I try something that I later learn... ummmmm.... you don't have those kinds of skills. So, desiger ladies... kudos to you as I try to make a square sticker in my planner! :) :):):):)

Stickers are a very handy thing. Especially if you make thematic stickers that will help you divide the planner by directions. A very convenient and intuitive thing. We need to photograph and show our own.

I hope that works for you! I bought a planner and hope that I will actually use it this coming year..... I always have good intentions, but they don't always work out lol!

Well, I have been a paper planner for a few years. I wanted to be a digital planner kind of girl. I mean I really wanted it to work. It is nice to digiscrap without the mess... so it should be the same without a paper planner... but it isn't. So, for now, I guess I will keep using a paper planner.

Paper planners don’t work well for me... it’s never with me when I need it. I am using a digital one for the first time for 2021 and I am really excited. It’s on my new iPad in the same app where I take all my classroom notes and have my digital lesson planner. I am hopefully it will work well!

I'm a die-hard paper planner. You know, the kind that has at least 3 planners going at the same time. lol I sold printed stickers on Etsy for many years before I went back to work full-time outside the home. It's definitely a labor of love.

Even though I'm not a Happy Planner user (can't stand the discs!), I bought this paper punch which works in all planners: Create 365™ The Happy Planner™ Mambi Weekly Punch, Classic

Even though I can cut my own stickers with my Silhouette, I don't always want to bust it out for small projects when I just want a simple box out of scrapbook paper.

I totally get the 3 planner thing! I have two! I am not a Happy Planner person, but i do love the stickers! I can't seem to get the pages to turn when I have tried to use a happy planner. So, I gave that up. I totally understand about cutting the stickers.

I have a nice paper planner that I purchase on Amazon each year. I do make tabs for it, but that is it and I love it! I transfer my appointments into my phone once a week or so because I like the reminders. I really do love my paper planner, though.

I always wanted to set up a planner but I have a question with digital supplies. Are they meant to be printed on sticker sheets and than cut out?

@Lynnie... I haven't put them into my phone, but that might help me bridge the gap in case I don't have my planner with me.

@LilyAnn, I think that you can do both. Lots of designers make it so that you can use them both digitally and with paper... kinda like a hybrid project.
