One week until Christmas Break!

My kids are SO tired. They really need the break this year.

We get out a few days earlier than usual so they will get a few extra days. I can't wait to be able to relax for a week before Christmas day.

When is your break?

Our last day is the 18th so a week from today. Most of the school districts around us have a 1/2 day that day but we go a full day! :( It doesn't really matter either way to me, I will most likely have to work either way! lol
My boys are the same way, they are in need of a break, especially my oldest. My youngest had two weeks off before Thanksgiving because of a surgery. They get the whole week of Thanksgiving off, however, my oldest hasn't had a day off school since September.

My son's last day is Friday. He gets out around 1130a.
My daughter doesn't have school at all. They just built a new middle school, so they're doing the switch from old to new over Christmas break, and instead of having them in class, they're using that day as an extra move day :D

So, we're celebrating by seeing Star Wars at 330p! :D

Awesome way to celebrate Sarah!!!

Stephanie, we used to get half days here too but not anymore.

My kids haven't had a day off since September either other than a weekend. we have more PD days in the new year and a few more Stat holidays so hopefully it won't be as bad.

It's weird hearing about no breaks. We got 3 days for Thanksgiving and they get at least one day extra each month through-out the school year. It's been like that since I was in school (two different states ....)

I'm in Canada (Ontario) and the reason we didn't have more PD days or Teacher days is because the teachers were on strike until the middle of November. They were on work to rule and didn't do anything extra outside of their contracts including PD/Conference days.

Cheyanne's last day is the 23rd (full day with a basketball game that night too). She goes back on Monday, January 4th. She'll have daily practices all week and a couple games thrown in there too and of course I'm sure there will be a project/paper or 2 that will need to be worked on during break. It will be a regular work week for me with Sundays/Mondays off (working Christmas and New Year's) but I am taking Saturday the 2nd off for her out of town game :D

We have year round school and I'm loving the breaks. I'm excited for winter break (starts on the 18th at 1:15) because it's our next long stretch off-- no homework, yay!

We have one more week & then two weeks off. My boys are trying to figure out what TV series they want to binge watch over the break! LOL! :DI'm trying to figure out things to do to get them out of the house!

Friday, December 18th is the last day for us. The kids and I have two full weeks off then! :)

I love working for the school district and having the same days off as my kids. ;)

The last school day is the 18th. However being retired, [from teaching] I do not watch the calendar as I used to.

We are officially on break now! Whoop whoop!!
Going to make gingerbread houses and watch Christmas movies today! :)

We started yesterday, and let me just say I was READY! I am still in my PJs today. Rest and Relaxation are on my list (oh, and finishing up the last pieces of getting my book ready to print!)
