Just wanted to make my FIRST internet interaction with our new 27" iMac to be here at home:Gingerscraps!

Help me welcome our newest member to the family: iSunshine. :) Not sure of the name yet, but we were able to purchase it from my Mom's life insurance money, and her nickname was Sunshine...the i, well...we're a Mac Geek family through and through!
 
I wear the Geek badge proudly :) About a year ago I came across the paper work from our first computer and our friend who worked for IBM bought one for "himself/ aka us" with his employee discount. It was the first IBM PC. It had a WHOPPING 64k of memory AND a floppy drive with another 64k :36_1_19: We also got a green monochrome monitor, a 9 pin dot matrix printer and whatever kind of Calc software that was the spreadsheet program of the time. It was 1980 and we got it all for the amazing DISCOUNT price of $5500! Lost track of how many there have been since, my husband's crabby face, has driven it out of my mind.:D I'm still a Windows geek. I have a 27" monitor attached to my laptop and don't know how I ever got along without it. I think that's a good memory of your mom. Enjoy your new acquisition (sounds better than toy? LOL)
