Oh my Contacts!

I'm almost 34. I've had glasses since I was 18 (should have been wearing them a lot sooner, but that's a different story). I've wanted contacts my whole glasses life. Just to make life easier.
Well, I FINALLY got them! :D



They're not easier (2 containers of solution in a couple weeks already, but they're so much easier to use now! :D

AND I got new glasses!



and they have CUTE dragonflies on the side!



They're brown and blue. My blue-grey eyes LOVE them :D
 
Yay! I'm so happy for you, Sarah! I have always worn glasses and was told that I could not wear contacts. Now, I am 56 and it just doesn't seem important anymore. But you look GREAT! and I love those dragonflies! Cute, cute, CUTE!
 
So happy for you! I used to wear contacts all the time and loved them. I would get the tinted ones so I could change my eye color, lol! I hope you are happy with them!
 
I didn't get glasses until after I was married - so I was about 22.5, I too wanted contacts since I went so long w/o glasses, but I tried so many different ones, and I have astigmatism in one eye and they just couldn't ever get the Rx right! :p So glasses it is for me!
 
I got lucky with them. I can't do dailies. They're too big. I have little eyes. So, I'm using Accuview Oasys (biweeklies). Six months are $136. Right eye is -3.75 and left eye is -4.0 :O (glasses are the same, though left eye is -4.25, giving me 20/15 :O)
 
YAY! that is exciting!! I remember when I first got contacts..it was a challenge and I have just now switched from hard to soft and wow was that a change..it was like learning all over! I know you will enjoy them but yes add extra time to your getting ready process :)
 
My sister and my mom both wear contacts and have for years and years. When I was 24 I was told I needed glasses (thanks pregnancy for messing up my eyes lol) I thought about getting contacts but after watching my mom and sister mess with them, I think I'll stick with glasses... (Plus after putting side by side photos of me with and without my glasses, I think I look much better with them!) :D
 
Yay! I've worn contacts since 6th grade but became obsessed with glasses after hearing one of my professors describe hers as her fashion accessories (we can't wear much jewelry where I work). I collect cute glasses and now I think o need dragonflies! You look great!
