Newbie siggy question

Hi!

I'm a brand new member, and I thought the best challenge to start with would be the signature! And then I ran into confusion right away, and I really want to do things right.

The challenge says maximum size 700x150. Where I upload my signature picture, in the settings, it says 500x180. In the gallery images has to be maximum 600x600.
What size should my image have to be correct? I uploaded my 700x150 version as a signature, if thats wrong I'll change it asap, but as it is over midnight here where I live that will be tomorrow.

Help me, please!

For the siggie...it is to be 700 x 150 as it sets beneath every post made. That said....I get as close as I can sometimes I do 150... And the other number is. Less than 700, which is ok.
another way is to create a new document 700x150 and fit the stuff in..

It is confusing when the upload to the gallery says no bigger than 600x600, when the siggy is 700, and I'm not sure why that is either. Sorry I couldn't address your confusion more appropriately or have a better answer for you, but, at any rate your siggy looks great!
