new to forum, questions about challenges

hi all,

I'm Sharon (Geordimom) from the Detroit, MI area.

I've been trolling/buying from GS for years, but my digital layouts always seem to look the same. I think I'm finally ready to try some of the challenges (both to bring something new to my layouts and to make me actually use all the stuff I keep collecting)

So, I basically read the rules of the individual post, post my layout on that thread and in the gallery, and then make a note on the list in Cookie Jar that I have completed a challenge, right? Can I do the same challenge more than once in the same month as long as the layouts are different? When I reach 10 points, do I have to let someone know, or will the Cookie Jar lady know (ie. they keep track over the months?). Also, I didn't know any better when I first started Organizing my digital stash, and I don't have the designer's names for all my kits. Can I still use them, as long as I give credit to those that I know (because this is considered PU, not CU, so I wouldn't be breaking any license agreements)?

hopefully see you guys soon,
Sharon

I think you asked four questions.
1- Yes you post in the gallery crediting what you used. Than you copy that to the challenge thread. And post a link to that layout in the Cookie Jar.
2- You can't do the same challenge twice. There are a few exceptions. There are two different template challenges per month. And the Project 365/52 where you can have one layout a week,
3- Yes, the cookie jar people keep track of when you reach 10 layouts.
4-As far as crediting, most (hopefully all) designers put their designer initials as part of each digi item so if you threw all your flowers in one folder, you might be able to find out the designer name that way.
I think most people try to keep the kits together these days. I know way back I threw all the flowers together too.

Hope this helped some. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

If I mis-spoke here I'm sure someone will correct me soon.

Sharon, Lily Ann has answered you well.
You can find a tutorial on linking images in the forum from the gallery HERE
