Everyone wants to go “home” for Christmas. That means different things to different people. I have such sweet memories of Christmas as a little girl. Most of those included extended family, but sometimes it was just my Mom, Dad and me. My Mom loved Christmas and it was always a special time. I think I miss her at Christmas more than any other time, just because she loved it so much and was always baking and making something for someone else. Since losing her, it has felt like “big shoes” to fill for my family, BUT, I also learned that I can best honor her memory and love of Christmas, by loving it and sharing that love with my family. Home for Christmas is inspired by my sweet Christmas memories.
