Linking in Layout Bingo--separate links for layout and bingo card

When I post my layout, I can link it back to the gallery. When I go to add the completed bingo card and try to link just it to the gallery, the link for my layout changes to the bingo card link. I use the same method--copy link, paste into the "insert image" box, click on the bingo card (so it darkens), copy the url and insert that into the "link" box. What am I doing wrong? (I wonder if my layout also darkens, hence getting the link to the bingo card. I didn't want to fuss with trying any more.) Thanks for the help.
 
I'm not exactly sure what you are saying...
Can you possibly please give me a link to your layout, bingo card, and the challenge thread (and post number) so I can go take a look.

1- Are you naming the layout and the bingo card with different names?
2- If you are trying to replace an incorrect picture, which it seems you are, most likely you should delete the whole image from the gallery and start again. Sometimes the program glitches and doesn't replace the picture correctly.'
If neither of those work, please respond again so we can figure this out.
 
Thanks Ginger. I replied below the 2 suggestions in this thread. I'm sure it's a simple thing I'm not seeing. I think it's as LilyAnn said, but . . . .

Kathi, I think I also experience what you have been asking help for. I can never put two links in the same post as it wants to always choose the first link I have shared or it might be the second one. I cannot remember as I gave up trying to do it.
 
I went in and replied to your post and I got the links to work correctly. What I did was move the second layout a little down further by putting in a few "returns" When I copied the links at first it was selecting the both layouts even though I only had one selected. Moving the second down a little, I was able to select only one layout at a time.

Thank you Anne-Marie. I think maybe LilyAnn solved it. I would leave spaces between the layout and bingo card, but maybe not enough spaces. Whoops, just tried it, and still not separate links.:(
 
Thank you LilyAnn. I tried leaving 4 or 5 spaces between the layout and bingo card just now but still didn't get separate links for them. I'm sure there's a simple fix!:(
 
Hi Kathi, I took a look at your post in the Bingo thread and it looks like you got it figured out. I see both the LO and the bingo card.
Let us know if you still need help :)
 
Hi Ginger, Thanks. But both the layout and bingo card still link to the layout in the gallery when I do it on my #2 post in the challenge. See my response #12, to LilyAnn in the Layout Bingo Challenge. I had tried leaving several line spaces between teh layout and card. I see everyone else has had success!:clap:
 
I fixed it for you, the code was a bit messed up, I went in and fixed it for you. If you have trouble in the future again, please let me know and I can walk you through it :)
