What do you do with them once the tooth fairy has taken the tooth and left some money. Also what is the going rate for a tooth. I have been giving them $1 each tooth. Now trying to decide what to do with the teeth!

It is so long ago now since we have had to play Tooth Fairy...our children range from 50 down to 47, so I cannot even remember what we did with the teeth. I think the going rate was only 20cents or thereabouts way back then:) There is a humorous advertisement on the TV here in Aus at the moment where the adult puts his dentures into a glass of water and a little girl creeps in, fishes them out of the glass and puts them in a pretty little felt pocket for the tooth fairy to collect...I was so taken with the story that I cannot even remember what it was advertising

I remember giving my kids a dime for little teeth and a quarter for the bigger molar ones. They range from 28 to 16 now. I still have their teeth in little film canisters. I have no idea what to do with them. I was going to put them in little mesh like baggies and put them in their scrapbooks with the picture of them when they lost it but the time is gone to do that. Hahaha.

The tooth fairy gave my son $5 for the first tooth and $1 for the rest, even after he knew about the tooth fairy. He is now 18. I don't know what we'll do with the teeth. I kept them separate and marked which ones they were until the last few.

The first time my daughter lost her tooth was last year while she was in school. And the nurse gave her a ver cute tooth case necklace like this one (photo from google). Which is big enough to hold a couple of teeth. After washing the tooth, I put it in the case. Here's a link of a store that sells them.

They are in a tray in my jewelry box. I have no clue what to do with them. They are all so old now.... the oldest would be 44... I did tell them the tooth fairy returned them in case they needed them when they got old, but no one was interested in having their old teeth back haha.

This was a letter my daughter wrote to the tooth fairy.

I've saved it and scrapped it.

Now my grandson has his first loose tooth!

Haha! Michi that's cute, but why doesn't she want the tooth fairy to take her tooth?

When my daughter lost her lost tooth in December, she also wrote to the TF asking for help to find her tooth. So I replied with a TF letterhead saying 'baby tooth' (I got that from The Guardians) already took care of it hehe
