November Hello everyone....My name is Barbara and I have shopped at Gingerscraps for many years now, but I have never joined the Forum until recently. I am married to Brian, who is a great guy and so much help to me. We have a son and daughter, both married and also two grandchildren who are both adults and out on their own. I have a lot of health issues so I was in the hospital this past November and parts of December. The doctors and nurses were great and really helped me a lot. Its a little difficult here at home but Brian has done so much to help me. I cannot do anything right now on my own still and I might not be able to in the future. However, I feel well and I am happy to be home and able to be on the computer a little each day. I used to create stationery, cards and many other things, but now I have to keep any creations very simple...I can't sit long at the computer and my vision is not as good as it once was. Actually, for a year and a half I was almost totally blind. I had three eye surgeries three years ao and they helped me to see, but not as good as I used to be able to prior to the blindness. That was caused by a tear in my retina. So I have a lot to be thankful for with Brian and other family, just being able to wake up each morning and for great medical staff. Years ago I used to work and I was an office assistant in a real estate firm. I used to create floor plan drawings of houses, as a hobby, and I crocheted a lot too and always had a book in my hand. I've had to adjust and move on. I am happy to be here amongst some of the greatest creators and the kindness of Ginger. What a special lady!! I'm happy to get to know you. :kissesSee you around.
