If you are military, you know what I mean. If not, it's the time of year many, many families get new orders and move to a new job/military base, and often a new area of the country, or in our case, a new country all together! Anyway, today one of my closest friends is being "packed out" (movers are here) and so it is officially real:( How many of you are going throughout the same thing this summer?

Oh boo. :( I know how hard this is. We left all of our friends back in February. I miss them so much…..

Here's a big hug to you!!!!

With the Marine Corps there wasn't a set time of year. We were all always coming and going all year long! lol

{{HUGS}} to you. I'm not familiar with any of that, but I'm so thankful for all your sacrifice, it's hard not just for the soldiers but their families....and children! Thank you, thank you!!

I do understand how hard it is on those moving and those who lose friends due to their change of status. To the best of my knowledge my SIL [recently retired], is remaining in the same town.

:( Oh hugs, I moved my best friend in town here this past week/weekend, it sucks bad!! I miss her so much! I've cried more times over the last few weeks than I have in a LONG time. My poor daughter said the other day, "Mom it's like they're dying!" as she's crying! :(

I never had the military life, but we were with an oil company and moved a lot when the kids were little and in school. It was really hard on them. There are exciting things about moving to other cities and other countries, but it's still hard on the family. My heart goes out to you with your best friend moving away.

I didn't know that there was a "season" for that. We have extended family in the Air Force and I know they have moved a lot. It must be very hard. I really appreciate the sacrifice of military families. Thank you so much! {HUGS!}
