Is there anyone....?

Sugar Cookie : GingerScraps Praise Team
... else who uses Gingerscraps exclusively for their scrapping fix? As I cruise the galleries in digiland I see familiar names everywhere. I guess a lot of the duplicated LOs are CT creations being uploaded in multiple galleries but it got me to wondering if there is anyone else here who posts only here?? In my previous home (now closed) the designers were exclusive to that site, and while the (not specific designer) small site CT team were required to post their work in other galleries, most of the members used only the home site for other participation. My mind boggles at the thought of creating multiple LOs for multiple designers from multiple stores then posting them to multiple sites and the various forms of social media. I am in awe of those who can do that and can keep it all organised and under control!!

This is my digi home. I do use products from many designers. I don't post all pages.

I've posted here more than anywhere else as this was my first digi 'home', but I do post and am active on a few forums. I follow the designers I love!

This is pretty much my home. I have a subscription from a designer at another site, so I get new stuff from her every month, but with all my CT duties I don't have much time to scrap with kits from other stores. I'll occasionally do a challenge at that site, and I do participate in Calvinball once a year at Get It Scrapped (an educational site). I'm on the Simple Scrapper CT (another educational site) and I do a couple of projects for them each month. I've contributed to two classes this year so far and I am active in those communities. Wow when I write all that out, it seems like a lot! But I really do consider GS to be my main home. I come here every day and most of the other places I go a couple times a month.

GS is not my original digi home - I've been on a couple CTs for another site a long time now but I am on a CT here as well, so this is my 2nd home and becoming more of a home :)

This is my digi-home. I am one that is on several creative teams (not just at GS). I make layouts and post them around other sites. This is the only site that I participate in other than posting layouts.

GingerScraps has the friendliest group of people around. There are wide variety of challenges, interactive designers, and just great people all around. I lurked for years. Like 4 years. One Survivor Challenge I jumped in and never looked back.

One of these days I will weasel my way on the store's CT. :-P

I consider Ginger Scraps to by my primary digital home, but I am on the creative team for another site so that is my secondary home, and I do post there a lot as well. I would LOVE to be on Ginger Scraps' creative team, but I am very happy with the creative teams I am on.

I AM fortunate enough to be on the CT for some wonderful designers who are here and I am now lucky enough to be a Sugar Cookie! I consider Ginger Scraps to be my primary home due to the wonderful designers and challenges here, as well as the friendly community and the amazing Sugar Cookies.

Since I am on some creative teams, I do post my layouts at multiple sites and on social media (Facebook, Pinterest). Before I was on these CTs, I mostly just posted here, with the occasional layout posted at digishoptalk.

ETA:
Oh, and as for organization, and under control, once I started being a CT member for more than two designers, I had to get a notebook and put in all the dates that layouts are due, as well as the kit release dates. Otherwise, I would never keep it all straight! Yes, I'm "old fashioned" and track things on paper, despite doing everything else on the computer! It's really not a lot of work, except on big release days (i.e. Monthly Buffets!), especially if a big Buffet day also coincides with release day at the other site I CT for.

I love, love LOVE Gingerscraps!! My first and only digi home. For a while I was CTing with other designers and would post layouts at their other stores, but it got too much. I am so thankful to be on the GS CT, love all the designers here, the amazing community and our fearless leader!!

The challenges here are great and the Cookies....seriously. There are no other galleries where you will get thoughtful comments. It is personalized just for your layout. And each and every layout will get lots of love!! Hands down, the Cookies are amazing!! thank you, thank you!!

I consider this to be my digiscrap home as well! I probably use about 80% GS products/designers, but there are a couple of designers that I like who are not associated with GS, so I will occasionally post a LO on whatever site they are associated with if I use their product (if I were a designer, I would want to see how people are using my product!) and I will post CT work all over, but GS is my go to for sure! I also like that it is an open gallery here, so that I do have a place where I can keep all of my work (in other words, I post almost everything I do here)!

I agree. The Cookies are what made me feel like this might be my digi-home starting out. I loved (and still do love) reading the thoughtful comments in the gallery.

This is an interesting comment to read Shawn. When I decided to start scrapbooking again after a hiatus of almost two years after my other home died, well loved galleries was one of my items of criteria as I cruised potential sites looking for a new home. I looked at the galleries to see if the LOs regularly received love and actually opened pages to read comments. It was one of the reasons I landed here at GS.

They are not just, "nice layout" and "beautiful" either. They are thoughtful. You can tell that the Cookies take the time to actually look at your layout. I know they read journaling too! You cookies are the best!

I'm like LaShawn. I am on a few teams elsewhere, but this is the only forum and board I participate on. I don't post on any other forums. I used to be very active at Creating Keepsakes eons ago, but that wasn't for a CT.

I love this place when it's busy!!! I love participating on the topics and try to keep the board moving when it's slow. I wish MORE people would come out and play on the boards!

I'm only on 3 other teams besides the store here (all individual designers) and I am now also part of the fingerpointing blog team (YAY!) and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'd never do another store team...this one is the best!!!

I'm guilty! I exclusively design here, but I also scrap for other designers throughout digiland. Prior to selling here at GS earlier this year, I've been scrapping for many of the designers for almost two years! As much as I love my digi-job and GS, I do love scrapping and scrapping for my designers, even if it means they don't sell here at GS. So I'm posting layouts at two other sites, but also post my layouts (all layouts) at a few open gallery sites as well. I am most active here at GS and somewhat active at another place, but that's also because I'm hoping maybe one day I can get on their site ct (dream ct job).

How are you not already on the site ct?! For some crazy reason, I thought you were!!! Good luck, if it were up to me, I'd make it happen in a heartbeat!! <3

So Jill, you asked how I keep it organized.....
All four of my designers, that I CT for (two at one site and two at another site), have Facebook Groups, which make it so much easier to know when products will be released, etc. There's so much communication within their groups that it is hard to miss deadlines! I check in their groups, almost daily to see if they have new products and what's going on, just so I don't miss anything. Right now, all of my designers are busy with IRL things, so I've not had a new product since the beginning of this month--this is rare for me. But when they get back to being active again, my schedule would consist of: Monday mornings I check the forum for new product. Depending on who posts first, gets my priority. Then as the week gets closer to release date, the other designers release their goodies and I scrap them according to how they upload them for the CT to use. If that makes sense. I always, always make sure to check the groups/forum Thursday in case any of them have a last minute addition or correction for that week's new release.

But for now, two are busy with their LLR business, another busy with a paperline deadline and the last just got back from an overseas adoption, I'm able to use anything in their store as long as I post it online. So when I get the free chance and want to scrap, I scrap their products. If I want to scrap for me without any strings attached, I scrap with something from my stash (trust me, there's a lot!). If my stash isn't cutting it, I'll grab something from GS or I just create something that I want to scrap! I'm all over my ct's, my own designing and everything IRL, but I've been on so many CT's in the past 10+ years that it would take an army of CT's to get me confused about due-dates and where to post, etc.

I agree! I just love busy active interesting and entertaining forums!

When I first came to GS, it wasn't by choice. I was on a CT for a designer who was affiliated with several stores. Each of us was expected to provide gallery comments on layouts created with that designer's products, with target number of comments. We were assigned a gallery and GS was mine. So I opened an account and started making comments. Then I started checking out the challenges. Then I started attending the Friday Night Owl chats and 'met' some of the other GS community members. And before I knew it, GS was home. I was really happy just to browse the store and do challenges. And then one day I was invited to join a CT - the designer is no longer at GS, but I am. I was thrilled to be asked to become a Sugar Cookie. And a casual comment in the chatroom has led to Tutorial Tuesdays... all that's missing is the GS store CT and I'm golden!

I came here 2 years to CT for one designer. Then I did a stint as a Sugar Cookie for almost a year. In the meantime, I accepted another CT position for another designer here, who also sells at 2 other shops. I do the challenges here and not the other 2 shops.

I'm also on 2 CT's at The Lilypad - one templates only, and the other does kits and templates. I'm so glad that I can use her templates here, because they are my favorites. I do what challenges I can there, using my CT layouts.

I'm on another CT for a designer that sells her kits on her own website. I'm also glad that I can post any layout here, since it gives all of my designers products another chance of being seen.

I also started keeping spreadsheets to keep the due/post dates, stores, challenges, etc. in order. It makes things a whole lot easier, especially when I have to post layout links on the designers websites. Luckily, all but one of my designers used the honor system when we post our layouts, which makes it very easy.

I am totally impressed with your organisational skills Wendy!!

I will tell you there was ONE designer that I struggled remembering deadlines and stores. But she sells at multiple stores with different releases at each store on different days, etc. I missed posting a few layouts here and there, but I don't think she minded too much because she didn't kick me off the team. With that said, she was also my favorite designer so towards the end, I was writing things down on my calendar as far as what released where. The last month I was on her team, I started naming my layouts by release dates so I knew when to release them. That helped big time! <3

Isn't that nice?! I love that!! I have three designers who do that and I love it! I don't feel as stressed with their teams

All but one of the designers who I'm a full-time CTM for are on the honour system. It is definitely nice! The site CT I'm on requires us to post our links, which I can understand. It definitely saves some time when I don't have to post links - time I can spend creating more layouts!
